Customer Ratings & Reviews

I purchased the Garmin Drive 53 to replace a Garmin GPS that I have used for over 10 years. The Drive 53 is a perfect replacement for my previous unit. I often travel alone in in unfamiliar areas with heavy traffic. The voice prompts are precise and timely. I would recommend this GPS to anyone in need a small transportable unit

It's a good, and it did the job. and it is easy to use.

I am excited to use my new Garmin. I don’t have a smart phone and I use a gps device all the time when I travel. I previously had a Tom Tom, but got a Garmin this time and look forward to traveling with it.

The instructions of driving on roads day or night are very informative

Great customer service from CSR. Customer went all out to help me ease my concerns with regard tl using rhe produvt.

This was a replacement for an old Garmin. It easily installed into the same location and set up was a snap. I love Garmin. I depend on its speedometer as the one in my car is hard to view. Navigation is easy and easier to see than my other devices.

The item worked like described and had no issues. I did have an update on the device when purchasing and made sure to complete all updates on garmin express. Gps had no issues and new updates and interface made a major difference. Will recommend 100%

I drive a lot with my current career and got lost a lot before purchasing this garmen. I use it on a daily basis and I absolutely love it. Definitely been a major lifesaver. I would recommend to anyone, super easy to set up and to use.

The gps works great. The mount is strong and easy to mount anywhere on windshield.

Great value and easy to use. Only disappointment is that it doesn’t come with an actually user manual. It has to be downloaded online.

We like this Garmin Drive 5" GPS. Set up took just a few minutes, options were logical and covers a lot. Screen is easy to see and adjusts. Have used on several trips and got us thru it well. This is an economy gem.

The Garmin gps works Great. It provides detailed directions and voice commands you can turn off or on. Let's you see when you're exit comes up about a half a mile before.Lots of nice features.I would buy another one if needed.Great product for the price.

It works just as it is supposed to work. Good size

This is a stripped down version of the Garmin we last had. That one started to black out spontaneously during trips. We added extra memory, but it didn't seem like that helped. This model has no voice command, and no traffic updates. I miss both, but they aren't completely necessary since the traffic updates were sometimes useless or incorrect anyway. And, voice command is easily worked around. But this new Garmin seemed to be more updated in terms of software compared to our last one. That doesn't mean we completely trusted it, and we had to resort to our phone map app on occasion. But the price was right. And we didn't want Siri or Alexa listening all the time in our car, so it's probably the right Garmin for us at this time.

My spouse started a job that requires travel to different homes. This talking GPS enables her to do her job and go to places she's never been.

Does the job. No "bells & whistles" Keep it updated and it does well locating addresses.
