Love this GPS. Very small with basic controls. Takes only a few minutes to know every setting inside and out. I have compared the tracks that this device makes with my Oregon 600 and it's VERY accurate for having a chip antenna. Doesn't have downloadable topo maps like a standard handheld but it serves it's purpose really well. Great to have a wrist mounted GPS and not walk through the woods staring down at my handheld.

Really happy with it. Very easy to learn and use. Seems to get slightly more accurate tracks than my Oregon 600. I love having it wrist mounted so I'm not constantly carrying my handheld. Battery life is pretty good too even with some more power hungry options turned on.

So far I've only used this to map out my land, and I use it for running, it's very accurate, and very easy to use, the only down fall when u turn it on, u have to wait about 2mins In one spot holding it level so it can link up with the satellites , other than that it's a great little device, don't forget to change the setting to get grids!!

This device meets all my needs and then some. From saving desired points for random reasons to plugging in an entire patrol rout for a military recon patrol, this is perfect. Also, Im tough on things and so far, my fortress has stood up to every challenge.

This is the American express card for the troop who is always out in the field, deployed, whatever situation you find yourself in, there is some piece of information this thing will provide to you that is useful....best 200 bucks I have spent for work equipment ever

Using this for hiking, mostly to gauge distance vs time.. I haven't even scratched the surface of the other features, but they seem easy to access and use. Sturdy construction, easy to read and comfortable to wear.

Outstanding gps, it worked great out in the field to find 6-10 digit grids. Definitely recommend this product.

I bought this item just prior to a field training exercise out in the desert in California. The GPS worked terrific especially since there are no reference points to easily identify in the sandy environment.

If you're team leader or above in the military you should have one of these, end of story. Sure, know how to properly land nav with a compass and protractor and map and blahblah. Get a Garmin. Plug in a point, follow the arrow.

Bought this for my son who is stationed in Alaska. He uses it there and also used it recently at Fort Erwin, California. He told me it worked great. Never was lost.

This GPS is a replacement for a Foretrex 201 GPS that I had owner for about 10 years. I am using the Foretrex 401 GPS for sail boat racing. It is a little bit bigger with the AAA batteries. It does everything the 201 did and I am please with this replacement.
