The light is great and Motor for the fan you can set to low, medium and fast

Best Buy installed - beautiful unit however one of the 2 under mount lightbulbs stopped working. I touched the lightbulb and it fell out, it’s impossible to get it to stay on. This is a defect. I’m not happy with this purchase. The unit is very load when set on high.

This is a nice looking unit, and it works ok for what it is. I've been using it for a few weeks now. BUT I feel it is a very deceptively designed product. Shockingly so in fact. As you can see there are 2 wide grates on the underside of the hood. But there is only ONE fan in this unit, and it is way over on the left side, the right side is just for looks, and all the suction is on the left side. Smoke rising from below on the right side - it BARELY drifts up into the vent. Good strong suction on the left side. You can test it with a napkin - on the left side it will pull it up and hold the napkin against the grate with just the suction. Try it on the right side and the napkin just drops away. Hard to believe no one has commented on this major design flaw! Pull off the grates and look, there's just a big empty space on the right half. Unbelievable really. Its too bad because otherwise the unit is as it should be. I always have to be conscious to only cook smoky meals only on my left burners. This is in no way Best Buy's fault, but truly shameful product design from GE. If you like to cook, I'd suggest to keep shopping around!

I bought this because of the price, mainly, and I wanted to replace my existing GE profile white range hood with a stainless steel to match my other kitchen appliances. The hood looks good for the price, but the fan is noisy, especially on the higher speeds. I don't use the fan very often, so it doesn't bother me, but if you are looking for a quiet fan, this one isn't it. I would recommend if the sound doesn't bother you, or if you don't really use the fan very often but want that stainless look without spending a lot.

I waited for over 3 weeks to receive this hood and it came just in time for the crews to start my kitchen remodel. Unfortunately I received a very badly damaged unit. The outside of The box looked fine. However the unit had many problems. First thing I noticed when I opened the box is that one of the lights had fallen out to the bottom of the box. When I unpacked the unit I found that the control panel was missing and was loose down inside of the enclosed panel. There was a dent on th hood as well as scratches. A disaster and severely impacted my remodel as now I have to find and order another hood and wait for weeks for it to arrive. I thought I had read the project reviews for this hood and though not the greatest. I had decided to order it anyway. I missed two very important reviews from other customers who both described receiving a hood with the exact same damage! It seems like maybe this is the very same unit that was returned for damage and reshipped to 2 more customers! Maybe just a coincidence that 3 of us received units with same damage??? Anyway I am upset and frustrated and very disappointed.

Excellent range hood, fits perfectly into my space. Nice to have multiple fan speed options and the light is super helpful.

Installation took three hours and not the suggested 10 minutes. It would have been helpful to have a power cord and mounting screws enclosed. As this was a replacement unit, we fortunately had these items from the replaced unit. It matches the other new stainless appliances. It really looks nice and the lighting (2 bulbs) is quite bright which we will appreciate. Think it will be just fine and not too expensive.

For an apartment setting this is the perfect hood, not too big, and gets the job done. Good purchase and great price.

I love this vent, I had a undercabinet microwave vent and I hated it. This is such a nicer look and works way better to reduce heat and odor while cooking. Only bad thing was during shipping one of the support boards broke so there was a little ding in the back corner. Nothing you would see when installed so wasn’t really an issue but one of filters was also a little messed up from shipping and has some dimples in it.

Very good range hood. The fan is very good. The lighting is very good. I got a great deal because it was an open box.

The filter came bent . After it was installed, it got turned on . And the fan was making all kinds of grinding. They are replacing it . Hopefully the next one has on problems!

This vent hood works perfectly at sucking up the steam. The lighting is good and is simple to use. If you have 7 inch duct you may have to get a damper for that size duct because the damper that comes with it is rectangle.

I would give this hood a higher rating except for the terrible design when you need to replace the halogen lights. We carefully followed the "push up and turn counter-clockwise" directions and the bulb broke off, leaving the bulb base still attached. Need to know the correct wattage for bulb replacement (35 or 50 watts).

Good power. Clears cooking smells out quickly. Exigent lighting.

This item is working good ,may be better than I thought. Great product
