Easy to use, fast enough for simply task, The hardware is good and efficient its the software that brings it down. Keeps requesting a OS uppdate but when I tryed dumped a load of useless annoying stuff on the system which now affects everything i do.

new machine is nice, alot faster than my old laptop which I bought at best buy 10 years ago. I am happy with the new laptop, it is slightly larger screen as well. one thing that is not a positive is, there seems to be a long way from the edge of the laptop to where the keyboard begins, perhaps 4 inches which it looks like they could cut out at least one inch FWIW. I wonder if others have the same comment. I also got a nice sale by using the memorial day sale.

Awesome machine for price, 5 stars Initial boot nonsense, 1 star Best Buy tech support for new product issues, 1 star Be ready to sell out to Microsoft with personal information to get it to work. BB tech support pathetic, "make an appointment to meet with a geek" I'm a computer scientist, bought this computer, licensed copy of Windows, just wanted to boot, connect, get to desktop, impossible! So just make up an email and stuff if you don't want these bots sharing with big data harvest and connected to you. That's just me, you can go all in as they bait of course!

Started off great for about 2 days. Power is fine for someone who doesn't need a powerful editing or gaming computer. For day to day stuff, this is great. However, shortly after setting it up (2 or 3 days later) a key broke off the keyboard. It was a key that doesn't even get used (the tilde key). To get that repaired, we were told it would have to be sent off for repair and we could expect it back in about 2 weeks. The computer will be in the repair shop far longer than it was owned before it broke. I understand that things happen, but this is just poor workmanship, and right in line with the last 2 HP laptops I have purchased. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now, but I thought I'd give them one more shot. This has turned me off HP forever.

I have low vision. I am still trying to adjust to this laptop. I haven't had an HP in a while, and perhaps the visual clutter is something that can be lessened. I'll be getting with Geek Squad again in hopes of learning how to use this better. It seemed a good choice for the price.

The white letters on silver makes it difficult to see the keys unless you have good lighting. The extra large screen makes it easier to read your email, etc. Touch screen feature means navigation on websites are quicker than with a mouse.

the computer is great but windows 11 stinks. Cannot get my old apps to run. Hoping the geek squad can help me.

I will say that performance is pretty snappy and it is a decent value for the money- my biggest issue with it is the display, the viewing angles are not the best, and it tends to wash out very easily unless you have it at the optimal angle, being a notebook, you have to continue adjusting. At the price point though, I think it is decent enough to pass. The keyboard is also giving me a bit of a hard time getting used to, I think it is because it is offset to the left (don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the number pad)- overall I feel lukewarm about the product and value proposition.

Love the size. Color resolution is not very crisp. More faded. Sometimes not readily responsive to mouse commands.

The product was what I wanted because my previous hp started to run slow before the warranty was up but HP couldn't fix it . Purchase this and on the second week the screen started to flicker which is cause me to mix more school and work. But they exchange for another and the Tech uploaded my data in the store so I wouldn't lose anymore work time or school. I will give it a try again they said maybe a defective computer. We will see soon

Haven't turned it on yet. The price is good, but I was hoping for a bigger hard drive on a 17" monitor without paying $500+. Bought this on the tax free weekend, it was the only one I found in my price range. The other day I stumbled on one cheaper with a bigger hard drive from another seller. Of course I'm a week too late to return it, at least not without paying a big restocking fee. I'm sure it will function fine, but I'll have to use an external drive for extra storage.

I'm sure the computer itself is great. I expected to be able to use the computer when the Geek Squad man "set it up". I am not very good with the computer, but I can't even get the e-mail to come up. When I ask a question the rep said to get a Geek Squad contract, that they answered questions, he deidn't. So I guess that is what I will do. if I plan on using computer.

This computer is very difficult to use. Great picture quality and light weight

This computer does not seem to want to download security protection. Gets too hot when charging, both the computer and the cord. Sorry that I did not buy another Dell. My Dell is 10 years old and is much better than this computer.

This peoduct was ok. The complaint i have is 2 part. 1. None of my phone calls to your store connect me directly to your store!!! 2. Waiting around for someone to give me assistance!!! And, I don't ever recommend your store to anyone !!

Was an interim purchase with tiny memory while my older HP Envy was being "worked on" by Geek Squad. Not too bad. Seems that all my Microsoft software and settings migrated to this cheaper computer without asking me, while my bigger better old Envy with DVD drive and Beats audio has forgotten who I am!

It does the job for now. An inexpensive option if you aren't requiring too much compute power. Sometimes it feels like I am a little faster in my actions than the response of the computer and that gets a little frustrating.

It's a big laptop yes but the battery does not last long for it to be a new computer and the speakers are not as loud as I thought they would be on this new laptop but other than that I love it
