The printer wasn’t expensive but always has to be restarted because of an Error on the screen. Spend the extra money and buy a better printer.

This thing is a nightmare. It drops connectivity multiple times per day. Restarting the printer is the only way to reconnect - I kid you not! Also, it took 2+ hours to set up. I gave it two stars because when it works, the output looks great. My previous model was the Office Jet 4650, which only lasted two years of home business use. The Envy 6555e was my 4th or 5th HP printer, the quality has fully degraded, and I am done with this brand.

I was unable to plug the cord into the back of the printer. It was not secure and it kept falling out. This was very frustrating. So I took it to Geek Squad and was informed that this is how HP printers can come in to them. He offered an exchange if he couldn't get it in either. He struggled with it but eventually got it to stay in. He had me try it. However Im not strong enough so all it did was hurt my hand and leave indents on my thumb. He put it in again and I will never take it out! Best Buy was exceptional with assisting me. It's HP that was the issue. They should do a better job with their production!

The sales process was infuriating. I purchased the printer online and was told to pick it up in one hour. When i got to the stoeI was told that it wasnt available but I could order it and have it on the 18th(that was on th13th) but I had to pay for it again. O th15th I received an email saying thatsince I didnt pick it up on the 18th that the order was being cancelled. In the meantime you showed it available but at a muck higher price. Also Amazon still showed it but their price was also increased to 180. I told the wife she wasnt getting her printer. On the morning of the 18th I got anemail yhat I had a package to be picked on - it was the printer that I was told was cancelled. I got my wifes present but there were a lot of hoops yo jump thru.

This was an upgrade to an older HP printer. This has just been OK so far. Not great. Get error codes often. Takes longer to print. Not as easy to set up. There is a wired option but they don't want you to use it. That's frustrating to only rely on Bluetooth connection. I tried using the wired connection and got even more error codes. It has two bright power lights that stay on constantly. I can't even get it to power off easily. Power button is in the back towards the bottom. Poor design overall.

4 months of low use (not even need to replace the cartridges) and the paper feeder is already broken

I am not happy with this printer. Never had issues with my last one but they don't make that one anymore. The new one wa great for about one month, then we got a quick power surge & it wouldn't load up. Said was not connetted to WiFi. But it was. Got it fixed but happen again & now even though HP help squad tried, couldn't get it to connect to Wifi. Lemon law now & get it replaced. :(

It's okay. I like my old Canon better. I've only used this less than 10 times and have already had a problem with it just spinning it's wheels forever. I had to actually unplug it to reset it. I also can't connect to the driver with a photo program to import a picture. I can only use the app which I hate.

Small, prints nice, but if you don't have an HP account it DOES NOT SCAN!! Does not give ANY choice other than sign up with HP.

I was unable to get the paper feeding working properly. I will be returning it for refund the day after the holiday. I enlisted help with my problem with some one and he failed too.

Set up was difficult. It took several hours and even after following directions, the printer kept dropping off the wifi. I almost brought it back, but an HP forum helped me trouble shoot the issue, and 2 updates later, it works fine

This printer uses up the expensive ink cartridges in no time! I saw this in some other reviews and brushed it off. Shame on me. A lot of people report that WiFi is constantly dropped. I have not had that problem. But if you have to print color photos, it's cheaper to go to CVS.

Retuned this printer. Power cord wouldn’t stay connected. It started making a beeping noise when it wasn’t printing. So annoying.

Just like most HP printers, it was fine until it just stopped working. HP printers seem to have a short life expectancy, and this one seems to be the shortest so far. A little less than 5 months of (minimal) use. Next time I'll go for an Epson.

Printer is not working well with my 5 year old computer. I pray over it whenever I scan my church music that it finishes the job. I need to turn on manually and the tech turned off my WiFi due to a weak signal. I can’t use the document feeder for either printing or scanning. Under glass is ok.

Failed after a few months. would not feed paper, so could not print. Geek squad could not help. Had to return it to Best Buy. Not a best buy

Too complicated to download software to computer/printer. I stayed on the phone over 1 and 1/2 hours and still doesn't work properly. It does print, but the printer message says to download the software/hardware. Too complicated

I had to return this printer. The screen is tiny, graphics on it are impossible to see, could not enter network information on the little bitty keyboard. It's a shame, as I loved the looks of the printer. Now have another brand with a normal size screen.

Does not support printing from iPhone. HP customer service confirmed there is a compatibility issue with all HP printers and iPhone IOS 18 updates. No ETA on resolution to date. This is not an issue with printing from a Mac computer. Only iPhone.
