Screen is good but a major setback is the IPS glow. Too much IPS glow is there on these iMacs. Looks very bad when you look at it from different angles.

Replaced old iMac with new 24 Migrated data - would connect to wifi but not internet - multiple calls to Apple, ISP and BB unable to resolve. ISP got it to work until I upgraded from BIG Sur to Monterey and it started again. The geek squad did not want to look at it without charging me to diagnose a 3 day old computer. So- it’s back on the shelf somewhere. I will give it a 3 as I don’t know the source of issue, but all other IMacs, iPads, iPhones, TVs and more worked- but alas not this one

The new M1 chip has issues with Adobe Creative Suite, especially with Adobe InDesign. Also, although Apple mentions that the system handles RAM more efficiently, this is the first time I ever received a warning to close applications to free up more memory. 8gb isn’t enough for desktop publishing, even with the M1. Unfortunately the 16gb wasn’t available. I’ll be happy when Apple and Adobe gets these issues corrected.

I'm disappointed with this iMac because it's slower than my MacBook Pro and lags a lot. If you're just using it for light creative projects and office work, it wouldn't be so bad. However, if you use it every single day for heavy graphic intensive projects, photo editing, research, etc. and need multiple programs and tabs open simultaneously, this machine will be a bit disappointing. I'm bummed because my glitchy MacBook Pro runs faster than my brand new machine. I will probably go back to a MacBook Pro as soon as I get my money's worth out of this computer. It's a nice machine, but it makes my job more challenging by locking up and freezing more than I care to admit. I've been a Mac user for 20+ years, so it's not that I don't like their products. Personally, I just feel Apple missed the mark on this one for visual and graphic designers who rely heavily on their machines to design and create every single day.

I like My Mac very much. Unfortunately I cannot get it to work with HP printer I purchased. Total Tech online was also unsuccessful in loading the necessary interface drivers. I’ll struggle a couple of more days and then return the HP printer as it has little value if the scan function remains inoperative

An average computer in a pretty case. Nothing fancy. Just a homework or family computer. Horrible for gaming. Only good for homework or browsing the internet.

I haven’t used it to its full capability, but I am impressed with loading speed. Considering the industry specific programs being run on my system. I do have a minor peeve and I do mean minor. I can see the inside panels when the brightness is almost at 100% it’s almost like a dark halo outlines the screen. While I can ignore it while working (I edit on an external monitor) for a product in this price range, it’s disappointing. I won’t need the screen on it’s full brightness, but Apple should figure out a way to prevent panel bleed in future versions of the imac.

Missing the disc slot. Can't upload my music off cd anymore. This version no longer works with the print shop program i have used for over 10 years. Can't open those documents.

Screen is too small compared to the 27" iMac. The limited USB ports is inconvenient. Could not use the most current version of Adobe Photoshop and had to go back to my 2021 version to be able to continue working on the new computeer.

smaller than my former 27" and fewer USB ports. SSD is nice but overall, Apple downgraded what I had instead of upgrading !

Im not sure I am a fan of the Apple software. Its tricky to use. I love my apple phone but the windows on a Mac are confusing. It requires a lot of practice and memory. I love the look of it, its sleek and I believe made to last.

I am new to iMacs. It would be great if I could find where to sign up for iMac operational instructions. How to find everything would help me bunches to start enjoying pink iMac 24"!
