The cable is too heavy and tends to weigh itself down. The cord does as advertised but it is cheaply made and breaks easily. Please do not buy this cable it is not worth the asking price.

Junk. used it maybe 40 times in the two years ive had it. nothing but connection issues. i get it if its a $20 cable. but 60 dollars is crazy for something that is supossed to be a product of quality. and im out of the warranty window so there goes that. first and last time i buy an insignia product

I have a quest 2 it worked fine for one night. I closed the lid on my laptop and left everything the way it was the next day i plug it in and it wont connect. Its not my laptop it has a 3070 in it and an I7 11 gen. In the end i said screw it and bought virtual desktop which is 1000x better almost no flaws or lag, will be returning the product not worth.

Was having constant connection issues with this wire until i returned it. Not sure if there was a short somewhere in the wire or what but it would connect, then disconnect. No problems when i used the oculus wire. Incredibly expensive as well. USB C is pretty commonplace now.

The salesperson will tell you to buy their product because the official “Meta” version costs more. Totally not worth the money! $70 for a cord that came apart 2 days after I bought it! A better deal can be found on Amazon for $22

Works BUT we have had for 1 month and the black casing on the end started just breaking off today. End is exposed fully now. Never had a Cord Break like this. Sure my apple or other chargers eventually wear out usually after a good year though. But not break like this

Tries using the cable and it wouldnt pick up on my computer at all. It charged the headset but thats it. Tried plugging in my 6 foot phone cable and that worked fine. No clue what was wrong, tried power cycling the headset, the computer, reinstalling the oculus app, updating anything that needed updating and nothing worked.

Got the cord today and the side that is suppose to go to into my computer (the straight usb c) doesn’t fit? I don’t want to force it but at this point I’ve put way more pressure than needed. I switch the ends around and that at least fits but my computer won’t recognize my quest 2 now while my other cord has no issues.

Not sure how this works with the Oculus Quest 2. The Oculus brand cable uses usb-c to usb 3.1. This cable is usb-c to usb-c. I tried plugging it into my usb-c port on my laptop but it's not detected that way. Now I suppose I have to find an adapter as I can't return Best Buy purchases as they have a limited 15 day return policy and I'm a truck driver and can't just pull into the nearest BB to return.

Doesn’t work. Supposed to be 5gbps speed but when tested with the Oculus app it is only 2.7!! Doesn’t keeps connected to the PC, constantly cutting in and out. I’m returning and getting the real thing.

This cord doesn't provide data transfer. Tested the original type c that came with the quest 2 on my pc's back panel type c, and got data transfer. Maybe mine's faulty or something but data will not transfer unless I use a type a header.
