This is leaning on a 4 star review. The cable works perfect. Good quality and solid connections. But! When it’s plugged into my quest it gets weirdly twisted. And I don’t mean like normal cord twist like my vive cord. It does this weird kink twist thing on the rubber outer sleeve and stays forever kinked and kinda twisted. It still works perfect but if you’re slaying zombies or running around like a mad man in vr it doesn’t take long for it to coil up in a weird way.I have virtual desktop so it’s not really an issue. Plus it’s way cheaper than the licensed cable, but if the expensive cable doesn’t twist and kink I’d be divided on which to buy.

I mean they work. They’re long so they don’t get in the way if you use Velcro straps for the headset. I sat on it the other day and completely busted the connector but if it wasn’t for that I’m sure it had a couple more years of life left in them. Only downside is how expensive they are for something that you can easily break with the wrong move

It’s alright, does its job but a side of me wishes I just spent more for the one from Oculus. If you can’t justify spending that much for a cable this one will do fine.

It worked as it was built for. So looking for it connect to your PC go for it.

There are better, cheaper ones off amazon, but I gave it 3 stars cuz it works as it should.

Thanks, John! Appreciate the honest take. Glad it works as expected, even if there are more budget-friendly options out there.

The design is flawed where one side plugged into the headset fine, other was not going into my c port. I have an MSI Codex and it seemed the male end was not long enough. I have a SS port for C. I advise getting a high speed USB to C if you have this computer.

Its a ling cable but a bit pricey for what it is. Does not support dp over usbc

These are two darn expensive and not much better than just a 2.0

According to the BB sales rep, this was supposed to be good for what I needed for it to do, but it actually didn't have enough bandwidth (stopping at around 3.5 Gbps) and I ended up returning it and purchasing a higher quality and more expensive cable to suit my needs. It worked well for low volume transfer and I didn't see any errors while using it. I believe that it would be enough for people who are not doing the heavy lifting that I do for games and work.

Love the longer cord, but mine had some gashes in it. I just missed the return/replacement policy though (like 45 days).

I am not sure if this cord is fast enough. I connected this to my usb 3.0 with an usb 3.0 to usb type c adapter(USB 3.0 has transmission speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s,) After connected I ran a few test and it only showed 2.9-3.0 Gbit/s and I felt that my gaming experienced suffered because I was not getting the speeds as advertised. Maybe I got a dud, Possibly since this was on the discounted shelve with the returns.

Does the trick but doesn’t charge at the same rate as the official cable, so the headset will still die with this plugged into your PC. Probably worth the extra money for one that charges adequately while you play.

Worth it only if you make sure your computer supports USB-C connection, otherwise you will be purchasing an adapter to go with it that may or may not work. 50/50 gamble when connecting an adapter. I currently own a Surface Pro 6 which does not have this connection so I needed an adapter.

It’s a cord - overpriced but was as described. It is a thicker cable so that’s a plus - hopefully my kids won’t destroy it in 3 seconds

Overpriced 5gbs cable. Convenient and no blame from Meta if issues develop.

Works okay with the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset but not as good as the Meta cable. No tie or attachment to keep cord from getting tangled in headset as you move around.

Works for the job it needs to do. Prone to crimping.
