Is the 400 what rms at 2 or 4 ohms?
Thank you for your inquiry. Our JBL Club 122 can be switched from 2 or 4 ohm impedance. It has a power of 400 watts RMS that goes up to 1200 watts on its peak.
Club 122 includes a dual‑impedance switch so you can choose between 2 Ω or 4 Ω depending on your amplifier or system setup.
The sub uses a double‑stacked magnet to allow the voice coil + surround to travel farther (more excursion) under higher power levels.
The basket is vented to allow cooling of the voice coil during high output, improving thermal reliability.
