Customers are impressed with the large and clear 10.1" Full HD screen, saying that they can see everything clearly even when using maps. They also appreciate the convenience of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as the improved sound quality compared to factory head units. Some customers also find the additional features like tire pressure, RPM, and 0-60 readings to be valuable. On the downside, a few customers have mentioned that the price is high, but they still consider it a good value compared to other options.
Snagged for a fantastic deal recently at Best Buy Dallas GA store for just under $700 ish after tax. I wanted to upgrade the crappy stock unit in my 2019 Tacoma. I couldn’t believe the value for the cost. It took time to learn but after doing so is 100% worth it. BEWARE though your vehicle MUST have compatible Maestro software to work “properly” with this unit. By properly I mean steering wheel controls for radio, apple play or android, rear view cam, pretty much anything extra you want it to do besides music requires Maestro as stated on box. Most good audio shops can re install Maestro into your vehicle if a previous owner has removed it, for between $200-$400 depending on shop prices near you. I found out the hard way unfortunately my previous trucks owner was dumb enough to do this. However with all of this being said I have digital gauges available on the unit, real time intake, engine, and oil temp, fuel consumption, engine load, and the ability to access tuning software if I so choose to add it. It’s truly an all in one unit that made my 2 kicker 10s and all kicker door speakers sound sooooo much better, and I already have 1000w powering them. But this unit can allow you to fine tune every aspect of your car audio experience. Audiophile recommended 9 out of 10 IMO.

I installed the JVC KW-Z1000W in my 2013 Ford Super Duty (crew cab) and it transformed the cabin. The 10.1" floating HD display is bright and crisp, and being able to fine-tune the angle/position keeps it perfectly visible without blocking anything. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect fast and stay stable. My favorite part is the gesture controls: a circular motion for volume and quick swipes to change tracks. It feels natural and keeps my eyes on the road. The unit is also packed with useful extras like HDMI, four camera inputs (great for front/rear and blind-spot cams), Bluetooth, and a 13-band EQ. Bottom line: this is a top-tier head unit at a very good price for what it offers. If you want a modern, tablet-like experience with practical hand-gesture controls, this JVC is hard to beat.

I’ve owned both JVC and KENWOOD stereos over the last 10 years and finally decided to go with the 10 inch display JVC for my Tacoma. I like the size and features. Split screen shows up well, sound quality better then older units and can tilt screen depending on glare. Would purchase again.
