Upon opening the box, the wall mount frame was already hugely bent. It took 3 men to straighten out the lunky piece of metal to even make it remotely usable. The wall mount is way too heavy and unnecessary for its purposes. The screws that come with it that go into the dry wall are cheap and will not hold this up.

Sherman,
I'm sorry you had this kind of experience with our mount, it's the last thing we want out customers' to have to go through. It sounds like the mount was damaged during shipping which is unfortunate but occasionally happens. If it's not too much trouble we're hoping you can send photos of the packaging to [email protected] so we can identify what went wrong.
The PDX680 can hold TV's up to 125 lbs at 24" stud spacing which means it has to be heavy duty and wide. It sounds like one of our smaller mounts might have worked better for your situation. Your last point is of some concern to us as none of our mounts are intended to install directly into drywall. Our manual only has directions to install into wood studs and concrete since drywall is not a strong enough substrate to hold up a 39"-75" TV.
We apologize for the hassle our mount caused but we're hoping you still consider Kanto mounts in the future. Our customer support at 1 888 848 2643 can answer any questions about choosing the correct mount for your TV and can guide you through the installation process. Keep in touch if there's anything we can do for you, thanks.

very stiff and hard to move around. For the price I was expecting an easier mobility. I could have found one for half the price and gotten the same results.

Maddog,
All of our articulating mounts have tension adjustments. Refer to step 6. in you manual, using the provided allen key you will be able to loosen up the main articulating joint for easier movement. Feel free to contact us directly if you need any clarification, thanks.

One screw was stripped. Putting the horizontal bar were awful they had to be forced. Gave up and went with another brand.
