What size amp for optimal performance
Answered by Kicker Customer SupportHello, the KICKER 44DL7S122 is a bass reflex enclosure tuned at 30 Hz. featuring a pair of KICKER L7S 12" high-performance square subwoofers. Power handling on this model is rated at 1,500 Watts RMS. For maximum performance of your subwoofer system, KICKER recommends utilizing an amplifier that is RMS rated within +/- 20% of your speaker system's RMS power rating. In this case, we recommend an amplifier rated between 1,200 to 1,800 Watts RMS. KICKER has a full line of amplifiers to meet this requirement, consider looking at the following models: 46CXA12001, 46CXA18001, 51LX12501, 51LX16501.
