I was a bit hesitant to purchase this subwoofer at first due to some mixed reviews, but it turned out to be a great addition to my system. I installed it in my 2008 Toyota Tundra Double Cab, and the output is perfect for the space. It fills in the low-end my system was missing and really brings everything together. This isn’t a competition-level bass setup, but it delivers clean, punchy bass that can make the mirrors rattle on certain notes and makes everyday listening much more enjoyable. I’m running an aftermarket head unit with everything else stock, and the sub complements the system well without overpowering it. The included bass knob is a nice bonus and makes it easy to fine-tune the bass depending on the song. Installation wasn’t overly difficult, even though this was my first time installing a subwoofer. It did take some time (around 8–9 hours) mostly due to researching along the way. If you don’t want to spend that time, Best Buy’s installation service would be a good option. Since the amp is built in, only one set of wires needs to be run, which helps simplify the install. As for fitment, the under-seat area in my truck isn’t completely level front to back. The enclosure fits under the front edge of the rear seat, while the area closer to the seat hinge sits a bit lower. In my case, this results in the rear seat sitting about 2 inches higher once installed. This hasn’t been an issue for me since I rarely have rear passengers, but I included photos to show how it fits in a Tundra Double Cab. Overall, this subwoofer has been a solid upgrade and adds just the right amount of bass without sacrificing everyday usability.

The bass with these subs is a game changer. Great clear bass and can get crazy loud and the built in amp saves a lot of space as well.
