Best Buy did not send skilled installers to install nearly $10,000 of kitchen appliances. The worst thing that happened was when modifying the cabinet, they ran a shop vac, which must have been full, or the filter was clogged, and they blew fine saw dust all over my kitchen, and living room. It requires deep cleaning. I want to be compensated. The refrigerator doors are not aligned on a brand new Kitchenaid refrigerator. The upper oven door has a slight scratch on the stainless steel. The upper oven door has some plastic liner or material that is protruding along the top edge of the control panel. The upper oven when in convection mode is making a higher pitched howling sound. It is not quiet. The lower oven has been run through the manufacturer's recommended heat cycles multiple times. The technicians at the house did not follow the manual initially, and ran it at 550 broil. They did this without saying they were doing so, and filled my house with smoke. I have a large Parrot as a pet. The Kitchenaid Manual EXPLICITLY says use caution around birds. The parrot was very visible. We all talked about it. I was not given an opportunity to move the parrot to another part of the house. The lower oven door top left corner is bent, protruding slightly forward. I'm sure this is a wonderful oven combo when installed correctly without material defects. So far, all we can use is the microwave.

The unit itself is great. This review is more of a reflection of Best Buy. I ordered this as an open-box in excellent condition, which means that it was supposed to be like new with all parts. Long story short, it had scratches on it that I only saw after getting it home and it was missing the microwave coupling that spins the tray as well as the oven vent on the bottom. I tried calling Best Buy to see if they would price it down to an open box item in good or fair condition, but their reps said I needed to haul it back to the store first, which is understandable, but not really easy to do with a bulky item that weighs close to 150 pounds. You would think I'd be able to email some pictures to customer service to show the scratches. On top of all that, it took over an hour to pick up because when I got to the store, it was still installed in the display wall even though I got the notification that it was ready to pick up. Just poor service all around except for the two employees to went to the trouble of removing it from display and helping to load it in my car since they realized I drove over 45 minutes to pick it up.

This unit does not meet the same level of quality as my other KitchenAid appliances. For starters, it doesn't have a manual that clearly tells you how to use it. But the unit also doesn't work and I can't get through to anyone to help; the oven doesn't reach the temperature it's set to (measured with a manual thermometer), and the microwave takes 10x longer than it should to heat something up. It doesn't get hot enough to make a bag of popcorn - even if I run it for 10 minutes the bag won't get hot enough to start popping. Really disappointed.

After 18 months the microwave stopped working. It took 8 weeks and 6 trips by the tech to determine it unrepairable. Whirlpool (Kitchen Aide) has the worst customer service and unacceptable communication. The product is in pristine condition and not abused by owner.

Turns out there was nothing wrong with the unit that was already in my kitchen. It was a simple wire fix outside that my solar guys fixed in less than a minute. I told Francisco to leave my old unit knowing it didn't die so that I could sell it or donate it. He and his buddy took it anyway!!! Best Buy and their third party installers should be ashamed! I've spoken to many associates by phone and in person and can't get my unit back- I was told Francisco & the other guy with him never brought it back as they were suppose to. I know the two installers kept it for themselves to profit from. I will never use Best Buy again. Terrible people, terrible service, and the Third party installers are crooks! Beware- you have been forewarned.

Don't waste your time purchasing from BestBuy. Might as well give your money to a car salesman. They bait you with dates they cannot deliver or install on. Why show product and installation availability for a certain date before purchase only to move it out by 3 weeks once bought!

I have just had the fourth oven/microwave combo installed. Unbelievable what Best Buy did fix the poor quaility of Kitchenaid products. Kitchenaid use to be one of the best. I have a Frig, DW and dryer. After this I will look for a different brand

Terrible oven. I have had at least 7 repair guys out because the oven can’t keep temperature. It will say the temp is at 400, but my thermometer shows 350-380, I shut the oven off for 2 seconds and re enter the heat temp and it shows it is somewhere between 350-380, not 400 even though it beeped that the preheat is complete and I never opened the door. The repair people have tried replacing probe, control board, hinges, you name it, they tried. I called kitchenaid and asked if we can just get a replacement because I’m hoping it is just a lemon, but they said I need to buy up on my warranty to get a replacement, even though the oven is maybe 3 months old. So they would rather send out unlimited amounts of repair men before replacing it. I have had kitchenaid appliances in the past and they have been great, this one is a waste and I am tired of wasting food because the cooking is messed up for it. Terrible experience and I 100% do not recommend this oven.
