This dryer is great but the lint is hard to clean out of the lint tray. I’ve gotten tools to clean and it’s not 100% effective. Otherwise great dryer.

This is the third LG dryer that was bought in our family recently. One set a year ago and another 2 months ago, both for my children. My two children's LG dryers are smooth and quiet, unlike the LG I purchased for myself. My dryer makes the strangest sound, a disturbing rhythmic cycling sound at one particular spot with every revolution of the drum. BestBuy does not offer warranty or repair services, so referred me to the manufacturers customer service line. They will do nothing, not even send someone out to check what is causing this noise unique to this one out of the three recently purchased in our family.

This purchase was to replace a 5 year old LG dryer that was going to require a second $600 repair. Nope! I purchased a second LG dryer because it was highest rated dryer in Consumer Reports, so best bad choice. I have found that the new LG dryer works/dries much better/faster than the old dryer.

I’ve had 3 different sets of front loaders over the years. Maytag, LG and Samsung. I’d place the lg for quietest at the top. Drying ability is lacking. The auto sending, leaves my clothes damp with every use. I still prefer the Maytag overall. The LG is better than the Samsung.

We thought we would like this based on reviews and Consumer Reports. We like the capacity. However, there is excessive lint in the front door and the sensors don't seem to work for "normal" dry. We have needed to increase the temperature and the dry time for what used to be normal on our previous Samsung.

Disappointed in the dryer. Most cycles are set with too hot of a temperature for my loads so I have to adjust the settings everytime. I mainly do small loads as there are just 2 of us. My lingerie with light color cotton nightgowns - small load but nightgowns don’t get dry unless I remove lingerie and start another cycle with higher temp. Husbands jeans and t shirts don’t get dry unless do multiple cycles or almost scorch them with highest temp - same for towels. So am constantly in the laundry room starting new cycle and/or adjusting the settings. Tried the steam setting on dry clothes for removing wrinkles - did not see any improvement. Might be a wasted feature anyway since steam temperature too hot for most garments.

Nothing wrong with the dryer, but the flow sense indicator came on a few days after installation. We called Best Buy to come out and fix. They gave us an appointment that was more than two weeks out. Very poor.

Hello there. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG 7.4 Cu. Ft. Stackable Smart Electric Dryer with Steam and Built-In Intelligence. We understand your inquiry regarding the Flow Sense indicator appearing after installation. This indicator typically alerts you to a restriction in your home's exhaust ducting rather than a fault with the dryer itself; we recommend checking your external vent for any lint buildup or kinks to ensure proper airflow. We appreciate your patience regarding the service scheduling.

Have had this dryer for about a month now. Still get sense flow codes after cleaning the dryer vent About the installation. Best buy sent a very young guy to do it and he came with a bad attitude. I could tell he didn’t want to work that day and he wanted to sell me a dryer vent that was supposed to come with the dryer. For this reasons I will give a 3 star review to my purchase. Only complaint about the dryer is the codes for the sense flow feature. Best buy please don’t send the wrong people to do the installs. Kid was pretty much rude.

Very good product, built solid and very silent operation. Only issue is the LG wifi connectivity which is still to this day impossible to setup, tried numerous times with the app from the google store but it is still unable to connect. Read online of from blogs to try to setup the connection via 2 cell phones to trick the machine to think it is connected to the home network. Still no real help from LG on how to connect and use it online. Other than the connectivity, the machine is a great buy. can't wait for the paired washer to come in.

Our existing dryer died. Repair companies here said they were so far out they weren't even taking appointments. So this was the best SET I could find in stock. Yes .. that was my only research I did.. can I get it this weekend? That said.. this set is pretty nice except 1 kinda big deal... it doesn't dry so great... no matter the size of load you have to turn the dry setting to high each time otherwise the cloths don't come out dry. Now that we have both just become used to changing setting before start the rest is fine.

They’re ok for the money. Feel like you’d get same quality from a cheaper one

Overall, I am happy with the dryer but a couple of things that could be better: 1. The delicate dry settings are too low. Most of the time it requires re-running 2. Lint still accumulates inside...maybe the holes are too big? 3. Wish you can specify the heat settings on all the presets

Dryer doesn’t get items completely dry. When I dry light loads or baby clothes the items are not completely dry, I have to set it to the "timed" dry setting to get them completely dry so definitely annoying. Also, I pqid for installation and they did not hook up the steam hose. My husband had to do it so waste of extra money for an incomplete service especially after waiting longer to get the dryer since the first delivery it was damaged.

The door swings differently from the display & the installer said he didn't have the tool to fix it. The product is good but we could have been happier if it swung properly. Someone should have asked that question upon purchase,

I upgraded to this dryer because the description on Best Buy web site indicated it had a delay start function. There was no delay start button in the dryer. I thought maybe it was just on the app but no, not there. Frustrating that you can't trust the online description.

My last LG took 40 mins to dry a very full load. This one takes 1 hour 20 plus mins. Alrhough ny last dryer was gas and this one is electric there shouldn’t be that much if a difference. No nothing is blocking the duct. I do like the light inside that’s cool. The set together looks nice.

It had been doing great but then 9 months into having it the dryer kept shutting off and beeping as if the clothes was dried but it wasn't. Clothes was still wet. I would reset it and like 5 minutes later it would go off again. Calling to get dryer checked

Too many wrinkles. no matter what I do everything comes out wrinkled even my sheets. Items seem to be pushed to the front of the machine. Also wet spots on some items.

I loved the idea of the dry sensor; however, either it doesn’t work as well as I had hoped, or I am not doing something right. I have had to add more time on several occasions.

This is a nice dryer, but it always leave things a little damp. You always have to change the dry level to above “normal”. Seems like an expensive dryer to have to fight with it.
