I bought this to extend my wifi for a better signal in my kids room. The game on wifi and it has been working just fine.

The Linksys AC Wi-Fi Range Extender configuration setup was easy. Plug in the AC Wi-Fi Range Extender, identify your home network (SSID and PW) and your instantly connected, can't be any easier. I can't speak for the range parameters it extends to since it just installed; but it has helped my signal in areas were there were dead spots.

Used this extender to boost my wifi signal on a 2 story house and it does a great job! No dead spots anywhere in the house.

The Linsys extender is working well for us. It seems to have eliminated all the wi-fi dead spots we had in our home.

The range extender works good but not as good as I thought it would, but that is probably due to my lack of understanding of how it works. You do need an adequate signal for the extender to lock in on for it to properly amplify the signal. Over all I am happy with the purchase.

The Linksys RE6500 Extender Was recommended by a coworker, I didn't try any other device first. I have Verizon Fios router which works well but does not have a strong enough signal for a1500 sq foot home (My Opinion) I installed this last week and have had Zero problems so far. We have both Apple and Windows computers. I set it up on the windows laptop computer easy enough , you do have to hook up the Ethernet cable up from the computer to extender for install, I than used Linksys web page for the final install. I get great signal strength through out the house and back yard. Very happy so far.

It seems to deliver the desired speeds... BUT I had to get a booster to cover my home (must be the walls or something).

This router extender works as promised and is as powerful as promised. Set up was very easy - a few clicks, similar to setting up a router. I noticed an immediate difference in router strength throughout the house.

put it in my sons house next door so he could pick up my wireless, works great ,now he doesn't have to pay for internet

We have an addition that we couldn't to wifi from- this was the perfect boost to get wifi thru the entire house.

The speed of this netgear extender does deteriorate from the direct connection, however it performs as advertised.

I bought this to help get wifi for my Roku. The wifi extender worked great. I can't say the same for the Roku.
