I purchased this in the hopes that it would be a good, cheap, full-size wireless mouse to use when I work from home. It looked nice and had a quality feel to it in the hand, but after plugging it in and using it, there were 2 quality control issues immediately present with it. Some of the steps of the scroll wheel wouldn't actually scroll when moving it and sometimes it would skip around the page as if the wheel was being moved more than once simultaneously. Also, when I would click the left or right mouse button, the back end of the mouse where the black top of the shell meets the gray trim would actually lift up and separate, making it feel like you were holding onto something that bulges in your palm every time you click the mouse and it was a very uncomfortable and awkward feeling. I'm not sure if I just got a dud or all of them do this, but I'd avoid this and try something else.

We're very sorry to hear that your M185 Wireless Mouse was missing the USB receiver needed to connect to your computer. We understand this is frustrating and a complete waste of money without it. Sometimes the receiver can be found stored in the battery compartment of the mouse, so please double-check there. If it's still missing, please reach out to the place of purchase for a replacement, as they should be able to assist you further. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/Logitech.png" alt="Logitech" title="Logitech" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

The scrolling jumps all over the place, and there are phantom clicks.

Hey Zaeron, sorry to hear about your issues with the M190 mouse. It sounds like you may be having some connectivity issues, so to ensure that's not the issue I would recommend trying a different usb port on your computer if possible, and try to minimize obstructions between the mouse and the computer. If that doesn't fix it, please feel free to visit our support site for additional assistance as well as warranty information. -Weston from Logitech.

Ordered the mouse in the morning 4 or 5 hours later after telling me I could pick it up soon, they called me and said they didn't have one in stock. Ordered another mouse, they called and said come pick it up. Brought it home, very stiff. Hard to use. Went to another store and bought a different brand works nice and smooth.

Hi MrDisappointed, Very sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the M185 mouse and all of the trouble that you went through in getting it. Glad that you were able to find a mouse that works nicely and smoothly for you, but know that Logitech has a host of other mice to choose from should you find that you need one again. Thank you again for your feedback.

This mouse was low priced but not low enough. QC should not be the purchaser's job. It was very hard to control 'out of the box' and it failed within the first 2 weeks. Given Covid-19 restrictions it is not worth the bother to return. I certainly would not want a replacement. Logitech, a piece of junk like this drives customers away from your better efforts. Any number of glowing reviews on your more expensive products are 'tainted' by experiences like the one I just had with this mouse.

I bought this a a half a year ago but never got around to using it as I was given a wired mouse to use instead. now that I actually try to use it, it doesn't work at all. Put new battery in, doesn't turn on. It's utter garbage

Hey Jacob, I'm so sorry to hear that. The M185 should be plug and play; just plug the USAB dongle into your computer and it should automatically connect. If you still have it, I would recommend contacting us via our support site, as the mouse may still be under warranty. -Weston from Logitech

Bought this and another one in a different color online and they both did not work. Changed the batteries and it still didn't work. I returned them to the store and bought a different brand which works fine. I lost my points that I used when I returned them. They said I would get the points back, I DID NOT.

Bought this back in May of 2020. Didn't need it till today Aug 2020. When I opened the package there was no battery (no big deal) but the thing you plug into the computer to make the mouse work was also not in there. I tried to call BB in Roseville, MI for over 1 1/2 hours and no one ever answered the phone. This is just horrible. How can you do business like this. And, on your recorded messages there is no option to enter for help with an item you ordered like missing parts. Really just disgusted right now and am unable to drive up there for about 2 to 3 more weeks. So now I don't have a mouse and am not good on computer without one.

Hello nusha. We're sorry to hear you're missing parts. There should be a compartment on the bottom of the mouse that slides downward. The battery and USB receiver should be in this compartment. If you already checked here and they aren't there, I would recommend reaching out to our support team here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 so that they can get you the right parts. I hope this helps. We appreciate the feedback and for shopping Logitech. - Maggie from Logitech

This mouse is very inaccurate as it is pointed to what you want to select. The middle/scroll button doesn't work very well either. Because of the price paid I will most likely throw it away.

I would have returned but it was past the 15 day window. Takes multiple clicks to activate any action, hops around moving the curser erratically. Spend a little more and get a quality product.

Used maybe 10 times for a few minutes then died. The few times it was used it was so overly sensitive that it constantly had to be picked up and moved manually.

Exactly suited my needs - not necessary to have all the fancy colors and designs . PLUS it's extremely compact
