The Logitech M650 mouse works well with Bluetooth in case a future laptop computer does not have USB A ports and has limited USB C ports. It also has a USB A dongle which can plug into my current laptop. However, to use the USB A dongle on a future laptop computer, I would need the Logitech USB A to USB C adapter. I wish that Logitech provided in the box a USB C dongle also.

The mouse is very well built, uses batteries efficiently and is very silent.

Just when I started to love the silent switches on this mouse I hit the Back button on the slide and heard a loud click. The only reason it sounded loud was because the top switches are silent and you get spoiled with this very quickly. Also the feel and activation of the top switches are nearly perfect where as the side buttons are the typical ones you find on most mice today. Its still a great mouse but I sure wish Logitech would have used the same silent switches on the side buttons. On a positive note, I’ve never had a mouse nearly install itself the way this M650 did. I connected the battery to power up the mouse and I suddenly got a notice on my laptop asking me if I want to install the Logitech M650! Normally I have to go into Bluetooth devices in Windows to add a device so I was shocked how easy it was to pair this mouse. I wish all Bluetooth devices connected this easily. I have used Logitech mice before so I am quite familiar with their fit and feel. This M650 is the medium/small size so its slightly smaller than a typical mouse and its geared for smaller hands but I also think it makes it perfect for laptops and Chromebooks. I like the fact that its small enough to sit on my laptop below the keyboard and not get in the way of my typing. The mouse has a very solid feel and it has some weight which makes moving it accurately an easy task. The sides have ridges built in and are made of a grippier substance so you get a firm grip with your hand resting over the mouse. Overall the ergonomics are perfect for what I like in mouse. The top two switches and the scroll wheel are quiet when clicked which is a definite improvement over other mice I have used however the forward and back switches on the side are as noisy as ever. Not sure why Logitech didn’t make all the switches quiet! The switches that are quiet have a very distinct activation so you don’t miss or need the clicking sound when clicking. The scroll wheel is also quiet and the detents are easy to feel so scrolling with this mouse is top notch. There are the typical five buttons and you can configure them if you don’t like the preprogramed settings by using Logitech’s app. To use the software you have to install the usb receiver which is stored next to the battery inside the mouse. The only issue I have had so far is that the battery cover can be difficult to open due to its small size. Since Logitech claims that you can get nearly two years out of a single battery its not an issue I’ll be fighting very often.

The Logitech Signature M650 Wireless Mouse is a great everyday mouse with a surprisingly quiet design — the silent click feature really makes a difference if you work in shared spaces or late at night. Overall, the M650 delivers solid reliability, great silence, and easy connectivity — an excellent value for everyday work or home use, especially if you’re looking for a quiet and minimalist mouse.

The M650 feels pretty good and is a Logitech which is pretty much the only brand I use. The feature set and build quality reflects the price. It has been reliable and is solid for general work flow. I have the MX line of mice and just wanted this mainly for a one off laptop and for the Linux OS loading I do from time to time. It gets the job done and works great. The wireless and or Bluetooth links work and are stable.

This is a very good looking mouse and easy to use. The set up was a breeze and I would recommend this device. I connected using Bluetooth and not with the adapter provided. It is very responsive. My only complaint would be the scroll wheel isn’t super smooth with all its clicks if you have to scroll quickly and can make an odd noises. I hope the battery life is as good as my other Logitech mouse.

Just what was advertised Great mouse Easy to use and works on all surfaces

I wanted a Bluetooth model since I haven't found a mouse with a USB-C dongle for my new MacBook Pro. The M650 comes in three sizes and I got the midsize one since I feel my hands are average to small. However, I found the midsize one is a little small and I would opt for the larger size if I had it to do over again. Not worth the hassle to return it, though. It is slightly smaller than the M510 mouse I used on my previous (10-year-old) MacBook Pro. Functionally it works great, I would give it 5 stars for that. I have not used the side buttons and frankly don't know how to activate them. Every time I start my laptop a Logitech screen comes up but seems to take me nowhere. When I click Cancel it reappears a few times before it gives up. Annoying. Someday I will take the time to figure out the Logitech "support" screen but since the mouse is working great for everything I need I haven't bothered. Great price.

This is the mouse I am currently using as I write this review. It works great and so far so good. I am using this as a blue tooth mouse and it is working very well so far. I had an older generation blue tooth mouse from logitech and it kept disconnecting all the time. I was hesitant to buy this mouse because of my previous experience. However, this one has stayed connected and I haven't had any issues. The older blue tooth logitech mouse was already having issues by this time. I gave it four stars instead of five because of my previous experience with the first one I bought a couple of years ago.

Good mouse for home use, a bit large for the road but a perfect fit at home.

Nice mouse. Compact. Silent clicks are nice. Side buttons make an audible click sound when using. Perfect other than that.

It is definitely quiet, which was a feature I was looking for. But sometimes if I am looking at my screen only I don't if the mouse actually clicked. I'm sure I'll go used to it at some point. Hand Comfort--originally bought the large version of this mouse not realizing there were sizes. I have small hands so figured this was my size. Now I wish I had not been so quick to send the Large back. Recommend you actually try both out to see which you prefer. I liked the mouse and my hand being close in size. I could rest my hand on it with my wrist completely relaxed. This mouse feels good but not great but normal fit. For my weak wrists, I preferred the larger one.

Overall great mouse. The battery is amazing, and I love how I can program all the settings. Only 4 stars because the scroll wheel sometimes switches from standard to natural by itself.

Simple to connect, smooth operation. Good battery life

I’ve been using this mouse for a while now, and it has worked really well for me. It’s comfortable to use, even during long hours, and the design fits nicely in my hand. The tracking is smooth and accurate, which makes everyday tasks like browsing, working, or studying much easier. I also like that it responds quickly without lag.

I've been using M590s for months, and have had excellent performance, and never changed the batteries yet. Quiet clicks and solid tracking. It seems like the M650 was a little less precise for me, but maybe it's because I am used to the 590. I'd still buy it again, for both the quiet clicks and the Bluetooth connection capability, which in my latest case allowed me to avoid using a USB A to C adapter (new laptop has only USBC).

It's great, as to comparing it to an Apple Mouse.Logitech

This mouse feels great and is an excellent option for a silent mouse. Price point was a little high but the mouse feel and function has been perfect. About 6 months of use, however, and the left click is missing clicks pretty regularly and requires me to click much more forcefully than feels natural. It definitely needs to have better lifespan to get a 5 star rating. I take good care of all my electronics and even bought a case to fit this mouse while traveling. Really hoping to get a replacement, and one that lasts a little longer at that.

the left/right click is dead silent, however the forward/side buttons are able to be heard. Keep this in mind if you're purchasing this mouse for that specific reason. This is an ideal mouse to have for on-the-go setups, a perfect laptop companion. Small enough to fit inside my laptop sleeve's pocket easily!
