After working in Logic Pro X a few hours after finally installing all my plug-ins (I have loads of them I've bought), I can safely say this has been well worth the investment and the fastest computer I've ever owned. It runs as quiet as a mouse which is very important given I need pin-drop silence for vocal takes. I am running two external thunderbolt 3 nvme SSD's each with their own casing. One drive runs my samples and the other is only Logic Projects. Both drives are giving me roughly 950MB's read/write speed which is the fastest external drive speeds I've yet encountered. The thunderbolt ports are clearly doing their job. The internal 512GB drive which comes inside the Mac is reading/writing at nearly 5GB a second! WOW! This bad boy boots up in a few seconds and so far even with an extensive and plugin-heavy Logic project playing, I'm only seeing a max of 25% CPU usage and 50% RAM usage via activity monitor. Seems like this machine paired with some fast SSD's is absolutely perfect for music production. I traded in the new Macbook Pro for this and saved myself a grand with an even faster machine. If you need a fantastic computer to create with, look no further than the Mac Studio.

I did not need this desktop, it has more juice than I ever need (even as an entry level Max Studio), but man is this machine insanely good. I work at a mental health clinic, so I always have tons of windows opened, Zooms (Logitech webcam), millions of tabs on Chrome… this thing doesn’t even flinch. What a beast, happy they got this for me.

The base M1 Max model has plenty of power for multitasking duties, and is even capable of doing some AAA gaming (just don't try for the highest settings). The unit runs cool and the fans are bare audible. The only thing that comes in the box with the computer is the power cord, but I moved up from an M1 Mac mini so I had all the peripherals I needed.

Amazingly fast, I love using this for photo and video editing. Works great with DaVinci Resolve and I can run other applications simultaneously without being slowed down

I love my Mac Studio! It is a high-powered machine that is very speedy! I use it for Photoshop mostly, which uses up a lot of RAM. This machine has 32GB and is perfect for my needs. Works great for running a small business with iCloud - syncing photos and GoodNotes between my Mac, iPhone, and iPad. I use the AirDrop feature frequently to get my drawings from my iPad to use in Photoshop on my Mac Studio.

Fast Computer. Compact. Fits on desk next to my keyboard. I use it for music production. The one thing is that it takes a little while before I am able to sign in with my password.

Highly recommend this desktop Mac if you are thinking of switching from a MacBook to an office style setup. This max studio is very powerful, and I am able to run tons of plugins on Logic Pro as a music producer. Huge difference in quality and performance with the new M1 Max chip.

I was in dire need of a new workstation for a while now since I edit my videos using Adobe PPro and due to its constant advancements my 16gb Ram HP couldnt handle it. Low and behold my first Apple product and i could honestly say that for this price in the current market - building your own PC isnt cheap theae days - you will be getting a grand machine.

I was debating getting this since I’m just a casual user but as an apple fan I had to have it. No regrets, it looks flawless and performs as well as it looks

Still getting it all setup so can’t say much for now except, it does boot extremely fast, very quick on the controls, HDR support out, haven’t got to really push it yet and see what I am capable of now. Will update once I have more info.

I do a lot of web development for my business. I've got the large PC with 3x 4K Displays and all the bells and whistles, but I didn't want that for this computer. I wanted something that was small, quiet, and incredibly powerful. This computer meets all of those requirements. I use an LG 4K Display over USB-C. The computer has zero problems pushing 4K resolutions. The only thing it lacks is more usable I/O. I love that Apple brought back the SD card slot, but having a few extra USB-A ports on the rear or front would have been an amazing addition to this computer. I've ended up having to get USB-C to USB-A dongles / hubs to get everything running, and my idea of a small compact computer that looks slick and clean has become a rats nest of adapters to get everything running. Most importantly, my entire Apple lineup of devices is M1 at this point. M1 Mac Studio, M1 Macbook Air, M1 iPad Pro. they all integrate and work together seamlessly, and they're all more than adequately powered for what I need them to do.
