I recently picked up the Moto G Power 2025 (128GB, Slate Gray) and I’ve been very impressed so far. The design looks sleek and modern, and the Slate Gray finish gives it a premium feel. Performance is smooth — apps open quickly, multitasking is easy, and the phone handles everyday use without any lag. The highlight, as always with the Moto G Power series, is the battery life. I can comfortably go two days on a single charge with regular use, which is a huge plus compared to other phones in this price range. The display is bright and clear, perfect for streaming videos and browsing, and the 128GB storage gives me plenty of room for apps, photos, and downloads without worrying about space. Cameras are solid for the price — they take sharp, detailed photos in good lighting, and the Night Mode is surprisingly good for evening shots. Call quality and speaker sound are also very reliable. Overall, this phone is an excellent balance of performance, battery, and value. If you want a dependable, well-built phone without breaking the bank, the Moto G Power 2025 is a great choice.

This phone is seriously underrated. I own an S25 Ultra, and honestly, this thing keeps up like it’s trying to prove something. I even did a side-by-side photo shoot, and the pictures on this phone came out way brighter. Like it drank a Red Bull and decided to show off. Sure, the display isn’t quite as crispy as the Samsung, but once I transferred the photos to my computer, they were insanely clear. I’m talking SLR lens, clear. Now here’s the weird part: I’m using Verizon, and when I put this phone next to the S25 Ultra, this one usually shows 1–2 more bars of signal. Now, maybe that’s just manufacturing magic… or lies… who knows. But the bars are there, and for this price, I’ll take the win every time. Overall, this is a solid phone that should NOT be second-guessed. Motorola has been a mobile powerhouse for years. Y’all remember the Razr V3 (one of the best-selling phones of all time)? The StarTac? The Moto G series? Don’t sleep on this brand. They’re still very much in the game, just hiding in the shadows like a ninja phone company.

Best phone for the money. Longer battery life than iPhone and very light

Really an understated best buy. One year later, through a few different conditions. The onboard OS manages battery life well, but the processor does need more voltage to calculate anything like gaming. This is a fine phone for pixelated games. I carry it with case and screen protector. I'd hope more devices are built to this standard.

Easy to use, love the larger screen and takes great pictures!!

I am extremely disappointed in this motorola edition. I have owned Motorola phones previously, and my husband has a 2022 motorola that we love. When my pixel started green screening, I knew I needed a new phone and found this one, did order pick up and got it next day. I had confirmed all the specifications listed on the website and thought it would be perfect. Little did I know that I was getting a phone that would lag, randomly close apps, and have issues connecting to the internet. The camera quality is awful (grainy in all lighting, and I need to take images of work related stuff to show my boss), and the speaker phone is less than ideal. I understand that speaker phone can be finnicky, but I would have hoped that I could set the phone down to use the speaker phone. I have to hold it near or close to my mouth for people to hear me, and even then I still cut out. I guess I should have known that there would be issues when I was transferring my phone data from my pixel to this motorola. Gaming apps were struggling, and other applications (grocery and email) were slower than the pixel. Then I randomly had no internet. That was concerning since I am on an unlimited data plan. Resetting the phone reconnected the internet, but it has been several months of these problems daily. My husband and I went back to look at the specs, including the alleged 24 GB RAM listed on the Best Buy Website, and then looked at the specifications listed on the phone in settings. I am not sure where 24 GB came from, because the RAM is 8GB plus 4GB(boost). This is the same as my pixel from 2023 and runs worse overall. If it had run the same, that would not have been an issue given the price. However, knowing the actual specification of the device prior to purchase is important, especially if you have to use the device for work. Images are attached, and I took the screenshot from the BB website on 10.28.2025. Unfortunately, by the time we realized the mistake we made purchasing this phone, the return window had already closed (both my husband and I work OT, so checking everything had gone on the backburner). The return window was 3 weeks, for reference (purchased Sept 8th, return window closed Sept. 23rd). At this point, I'm hoping a factory reset fixes all of this. The only benefit of this phone so far has been the battery life.

Best cheap android phone with 5g and stock android

Overall very satisfied - love that it has overcharge protection built in and the nice slim lines, the only complaint is it seems to restart every time I go into a store and the maps doesn’t sync with my Toyota

I’m very satisfied with this phone. It works fast and smoothly, and it’s very easy to use. The screen has great quality with bright, clear colors. The battery lasts all day with normal use, which is a big plus. The camera takes clear photos with good detail. Overall, it’s a great phone for the price, and I would definitely recommend it.

My previous phone was a Samsung S21 FE 5g cost over 700.00 at that time of purchase. I wanted a phone with a little larger screen so I found the Moto g power at Best Buy. I have used Moto in the past and never any issues. All my phones past and present were purchased at Best Buy. I absolutely love this phone and for the price it's crazy. The screen is larger, the resolution is perfect. Love the fingerprint login located on the side of the phone rather than on the screen. Picture quality awesome. I honestly thought why pay almost 1k or over for other phones? It's a durable phone, the quality is excellent. I'm glad I satisfied with this phone and it's good to be back with Moto.

I bought the Motorola Moto G Power 2025 (128 GB, Unlocked) in Slate Gray for my 75-year-old mom, and she absolutely loves it. The large, bright screen makes reading messages and viewing photos much easier for her. The phone feels sturdy and well-built without being too heavy, and the battery easily lasts her several days between charges. The performance is smooth for calls, texts, YouTube, and video chats—no lag or confusion with menus. The clean Android interface is simple to navigate, which is great for someone who’s not very tech-savvy. Setup was quick, and the unlocked feature gives flexibility for any carrier. Overall, it’s an excellent value for the price—reliable, fast, and senior-friendly. Highly recommended!

It isn't the perfect specimen by any means but it is very capable. I've had many phones over many years and find that this one has certain aspects that are better than some of the previous phones from this company and other companies. The battery is one of the best in the industry I think. It can actually go days without charging if you don't use it a lot. It can hold up for about 2 days with moderate use and with heavy use you can last the entire day and not worry too much about being depleted. It's generally the same size and weight as others on the market and is easy to handle. It has a decent camera or two that produce sharp images. Great for quick shots or more if you so desire. (I have dedicated cameras for photos) Bloatware is minimal compared to some others and many things you are able to delete if you don't want them. 128GB is pretty good space and there is over half free even with the apps loaded on the phone. The space to load apps is something that is subjective depending on how you use apps and which ones. Should be enough space to load all the social media apps of choice even if it is all of them. The screen is clear and bright with good response to touch and good feel. Overall a good device and the 2nd one in the family.

Nice and smooth UI, bought for a reasonable price with some coupon during Christmas. Camera is decent , display is also smooth, sound quality is nice Cons: Is a bit on a heavier side to hold when we add up a case. But considering the bigger battery for extended backup it easily lasts for a day or more. It has dual sim with one esim and a phisical sim option.

A great budget phone for traveling abroad minus a few issues. Pros: Great build quality, not much bloated software, responsive. Love the vegan leather back. Excellent battery life. Cons: You can only use 1 ESIM at a time unlike other phones that allows you to use 2 ESIM. Horrible low light camera performance. Looking for a burner phone to use when traveling and looked at a few budget phones. Motorola has always caught my attention for being a great value. Come from an iPhone 17 pro phone and Pixel 7 Pro, I know what I was getting into. One downside that I mention is that you cannot use 2 esim concurrently. iPhones and at the the Pixel 7 Pro will let you. I usually do this to still receive voice calls on my current carrier and leave the data plan with the country's carrier. Battery life is amazing. I could get through the day and still have over 50% at the end of the night. Camera is good. Not great. Low light performance suffer. Video recording it great, normal lighting photography is good. It's not up there with iphone or pixel level photography but it's decent enough to use on social media. But I do carry a DSLR if I want to do any photography abroad. Overall, a great budget phone for traveling or for general use.

Great phone for great price, pictures come clear and sharp, big enough and bright screen, strong battery and option to add SD memory card - a thing that iPhone and Samsung don't offer and that is a huge plus!!! Also mini audio jack slot is good move - overall very good phone - pictures quality not as good as S series Samsung or IPhone but still good enough. Highly recommended phone - great job motorola

Mostly everything I expected from the specs. It is a bit slower than I had hoped considering the 8gb ram. It's a great basic $300 phone that does what you need with it. It might be worth looking into the $400+ range though. Also my mother got the 2024 edition on sale for less than $150. Oddly it seems to work just as well. The main reason I went with this one was the claimed water resistance and ram. Consider the 2024 model, as it's battery life seems to be better as well. Also the 2025 moto g stylus may be worth the extra price.
