Motorola - moto g power 2025 5G 128GB (Unlocked) - Slate Gray

I’ve been using the Moto G Power 2024 5G for a few weeks now, and it’s been a pleasant surprise for a phone in this price range. Battery Life: This is where the phone truly shines. The “Power” in the name isn’t just marketing — I’m consistently getting well over a full day of use, sometimes stretching close to two days with moderate use. Heavy streaming and gaming will drain it faster, but for everyday tasks, it’s excellent. Performance: The 5G connectivity is fast and reliable in areas with good coverage. The 128GB storage gives plenty of room for apps, photos, and downloads without constantly worrying about space. General navigation, texting, and browsing feel smooth, though heavier multitasking does show this isn’t a flagship-tier processor. Display & Design: The screen is bright and clear for everyday viewing, and the phone has a nice in-hand feel for the price point. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. Camera: Decent for casual photos in good lighting. Low-light shots aren’t going to compete with premium phones, but for the price, it’s a fair trade-off. Value: This is really the standout factor — you’re getting 5G, solid battery life, and ample storage at a fraction of flagship pricing. Bottom line: If you want a dependable, no-fuss phone that won’t die on you by 3pm and don’t need top-tier camera or gaming performance, the Moto G Power 2024 5G is a smart, budget-friendly pick.

I recently picked up the Moto G Power 2025 (128GB, Slate Gray) and I’ve been very impressed so far. The design looks sleek and modern, and the Slate Gray finish gives it a premium feel. Performance is smooth — apps open quickly, multitasking is easy, and the phone handles everyday use without any lag. The highlight, as always with the Moto G Power series, is the battery life. I can comfortably go two days on a single charge with regular use, which is a huge plus compared to other phones in this price range. The display is bright and clear, perfect for streaming videos and browsing, and the 128GB storage gives me plenty of room for apps, photos, and downloads without worrying about space. Cameras are solid for the price — they take sharp, detailed photos in good lighting, and the Night Mode is surprisingly good for evening shots. Call quality and speaker sound are also very reliable. Overall, this phone is an excellent balance of performance, battery, and value. If you want a dependable, well-built phone without breaking the bank, the Moto G Power 2025 is a great choice.

After having this phone for a week: Solid device quality! It reminds me of old quality that was expected. The device's performance and battery handle my daily routine easily. I had to replace my pixel 7 pro after finding out the screen was almost half the devices brand new price several years ago (300+). I picked this up on sale for 130USD and I could not have been happier. I don't know if I will ever go back to an overpriced flagship phone again! The camera is pretty standard however that isn't much of an issue for me. The only drawback would be the screen's touch sensitivity and accuracy, which feel slightly lower than on my previous devices. Additionally, the weight is a bit heavier than I’d like, though the heft might be a positive for some. 4/5 4.5/5 if I could. Pleasedwith my purchase.

(long-ish review) Very fast for browsing, watching Youtube and twitch. It runs on Android 15 after you install all updates. For the price, this is MUCH better than the cheapest Samsungs out there, and faster than them too. It doesn't have a good gallery app but has Google gallery pre-installed, which is fine. For music, it doesn't have its own app either, I like to use Pi music player, it works well and there are other great options out there as well. I also use Pi Video player for videos since Google gallery is very basic when it comes to that. I don't play many games on this but I was curious how well it performs so I downloaded Pokemon Unite, and it ran at around 45-48 frames. Which was OK in my opinion for the price of this phone. Speaker audio on this is amazing in my opinion, as well as with headphones. Many options for different types of audio, I leave it on Smart Audio since it sounds the best to me. But man these speakers get VERY loud, and audio quality was a big surprise to me. Camera quality is alright, it does good in bright rooms or outside (added a photo of outside at night in my review) Room has to be pretty bright for good quality though, but it has great features for editing photos that really improve their quality after the fact so that's nice. Screen Is nice and bright, no complaints really.. but it could have better resolution. 8gb of RAM by default and you can boost it to 16gb, but this is pretty pointless unless you are gaming. For the first 3 days or so it will ask you to update your phone, but it does eventually end once you are caught up. There's also great shortcuts for opening the camera, using flashlight, and another one for opening an app of your choice which I enjoy using All of them. All in all very fast for what I do. so if you just need a phone for basic browsing, good music and good speakers with an alright enough camera and screen with OK gaming, this phone is a no brainer. Way better than a cheap Samsung.

Upgraded from moto g stylus 2021 (yes I've had it that long). This moto seems to work very well. I use straighttalk and have not had any problems so far. Took a ton of bloatware out of it but that is every new phone. Transfer and setup was extrememly easy. It was just a matter of setting the phones next to each other, think that was great. Everything seems to work as it should. When 1st using the camera I didn't like the colors but after going into settings and adjusting them I am satisfied with the camera. I own a bodyshop and use the phone to send customer car pics to insurance companies so need the camera as reliable, close to real colors as possible and show great details. Put a screen protector and case on it. Phone feels very substantial and easy to hold. Hopefully this phone will last as long as my old one. The only reason for replacing is the old phone battery will no longer hold a charge. I got this phone on a nice sale price. For me it was well worth the money.
