A: Hi James, If you are an Xfinity customer, you'll need this Motorola Model MT7711 modem with router and phone jack. It's a wonderful device and it had functions for TV, Internet, and phone. I owned one, and I'm very happy with it. Good luck to you!
Q: Will this modem work with Comcast Xfinity, 200mps? Does it have a built in router and WIFI enable?
A: yes
Q: can this modem accommodate up to 1GB? Xfinity told me it will only go up to 600Mbps.
A: This Modem/router is a DOCSIS3.0 and will only handle up to about 625 MB. You have to get a modem/router that is DOCSIS3.1 for 1 GIG service.
A: There is one man unit on your cordless set . That’s the one that probably has an answering device with it. That the one that gets plugged into the modem. And either outlet should work. Phone 1 or 2. The only problem I have is Comcast setting up the phone through the modem. I’ve been trying sine end 12/2. So I hope you don’t have Comcast
