These are great. I received the new version, which is 850 lumens, instead of 800 lumens, which I received when I bought from the ubiquitous-you-know-who other online retailer. I have these in my kitchen pendants and a few white Fado globe lamps. They're *really* cool in the globe lamps. It's basically an orb of whatever color you want. I prefer these to the white ones because these also do the job of the white ones - you can adjust the warmth or cool (Kelvin) scale from cool (best during mid day) and warm (best at night). So basically you get all the functionality of the white only bulbs with optional color. To be honest, I mostly use the white settings only, but when we were having a nice dinner I used a sort of warm orange setting and it made the room look very nice - almost a candlelight feel. I have 5 of these bulbs and 3 of the Kasa plugs (also very nice) - I really like the interface and everything it allows you to do. You can program schedules for individuals days of the week, etc, its a good interface and the app is pleasant to look at/use. I'm gonna buy a few more for the house so I can have dimming bulbs for some bedroom lamps that don't have dimmers. Highly recommended.

Very happy with it, I love the part where I can change color that I like and. Easy to control from my phone and easy to set the pre set colors ready so i can chose depending on the mood or how I want my room look different. I hate the how is not bright enough but it does illuminate to standard brightness.

Perfect as a voice activated, dimmable bulb. Tailor the warmth of the light to the time of day or your mood. Then name any color and the bulb replicates it.

They added groups to this product so you can now easily configure and chsnge colors to more than one bulb. I have several in my man cave. Impressive.

I have Lifx, TP link and Hue bulbs and devices. Lifx to me offers most vivid colors and brightness but I've had network reliability issues with them so I've stayed away after my first purchases. I mostly own Hue which are nearly always reliable and the app is great. However, lately Ive been buying more and more TP-link offerings. They are cheaper, and thus far have solid connections and even let me check the energy usage. The app is better than hue in terms of schedules and date, but the hue app is better for controlling groups and colors. Depends what you plan on using the lights for - but these offer great color and brightness and control and are amazing alt to Hue if you want to budget

I recently upgraded to Kasa WiFi Smart Light Bulbs, and they've exceeded my expectations. The installation was a breeze, connecting seamlessly to my home WiFi network. The range of customizable colors and brightness is impressive, allowing me to create the perfect vibe for any occasion through the user-friendly Kasa app. Scheduling features make it easy to automate lighting throughout the day, contributing to energy savings. Integration with voice assistants like Google Assistant(my case but also compatible with Alexa) adds convenience, allowing for hands-free control. The LED bulbs are not only smart but also energy-efficient, providing a long-lasting and environmentally conscious lighting solution. Overall, the Kasa WiFi Smart Light Bulbs have transformed my home lighting experience, offering intelligence, style, and efficiency. Highly recommended!

Second pair of the multicolored bulbs, and 3rd pair overall from TP Link. These bulbs are amazing. Perfect integration with Google Home/Assistant. The Android app is very well polished, and WiFi setup was a snap. No hub required

I've bought a lot of smart bulbs over the last 3 years trying to find the one that's right for me. This is by far the best one I've found at this price point. Way brighter than Hue and the color saturations are better than Tuya. Not to mention, its half the price of Hue/LiFX. I bought one to try it out and instantly fell in love and went back and purchased 15 more while they were on sale. The Kasa app works with everything: Alexa, Google Home, Hubitat, Home Assistant, Smartthings, IFTTT. They've added a new circadian rhythm function that will turn on the lights to the appropriate spectrum and brightness for the time of day/night. This is awesome for grouped lights that will all turn on in unison with the same color temp/brightness. I've often had to fake this kind of simulation in convoluted ways with other bulbs. The ONLY negative thing that I can say is app related. Auto-off timers have been a point of consternation between TP-LINK and the smart home community for a while. Users are demanding it and TP-LINK has yet to deliver. You used to have to purchase their sub optimal router to get this functionality (which is absurd). They've now incorporated it into the app like every other company but only allow you to auto off 3 devices! (So infuriating). The workaround is to route it through the Samsung Smartthings IDE and code auto-offs in webCoRE (if you can follow prompts, you can code this in webCoRE very easily). A ridiculous workaround but it definitely works and once it's set up, it's good forever. I still have faith that TP-LINK will come through with this feature but as of the time of this review, it's still not a reality.

The KASA Smart Home devices are reliable and a snap to set up for use with Alexa. Love them! I didn't intend to get a colored bulb but that was the only model in stock so I tried it. What fun. Sets the mood or just changes for variety. And the color can be changed by telling Alexa. A fun and useful purchase.

The Kasa multicolor bulb has decent brightness and the bulb can produce colors with a vivid hue. The Kasa app and widgets are easy to use and require very little learning curve. The Kasa app is very robust and adding the bulb to my existing account took less than 5 minutes. The ability to use as a regular bulb for task lighting is also nice. The bulb is able to produce a very warm white (2500K) to a very bright white (9000K). The bulb gives you the ability to set presets that determine both color and brightness together. This is very helpful along with the fact these presets are accessible through a custom widget. I also like the ability to customize the name and icon making it easy to identify among other products within the app. As with most products, there is still room for improvement. The interface in the Kasa app could be improved to display more information in less space on the device tab. Also, I would prefer a bar instead of the wheel for selecting the color.

The lightbulb is setup on my living room, so when we are watching netflix o TV I can set the color I want to. It's super easy to configure and it integrates with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant very well.

I've purchase 4 of these bulbs and they work great. There is a variety of colors and of course warm and cool of white. Works with Google, Alexa and of course the Kasa app. Set up was easy.

I have 3 of these in my siblings room, and compared to the LIFX minis, these stay off! They setup easily, do not randomly turn themselves on like the lifx minis, colors are bright for 800 lumens, accurate and much better. Kasa app integrates with google assistant well and can be accessed easier than others.

These bulbs are brighter than the Philips hue, they cost way less, & if you already have a smart speaker they don't need a smart hub to work. The TP link Kasa app integrates with Alexa & Google. Not just saying that we have both smart speakers. Also they're very simple to setup. You can do tons of colors. Adjust the brightness without installing a dimmer switch. Just tell the speaker to adjust the brightness from 0-100%. The colors are beautiful. If you have a standing corner lamp these bulbs are perfect at illuminating the entire corner & the roof of the room. 16 million colors to choose from. Any questions about these bulbs ask me or ask around. There are multiple YouTube videos about them being brighter & better than Philips hue.

I purchased this light because I seen it had great reviews and DOES NOT use a HUB. Something I think is just a money grab from other companies... (Looking at you HUE). This light works perfectly!! Set up was a BREEZE and it produces awesome colors! I will be purchasing more for my home!! I would have bought a lot today but my bestbuy only had 2 in stock. The app works great and I connected Alexa which controls it fast! This is a must buy!

I bought 2 of these TP-Link Kasa color and white smart bulbs for my Mom. She had been complaining about the LED bulbs in her living room being too bright at night when she was watching TV. I installed these bulbs in a standard ceiling mount light fixture and voila, problem solved! She can now tell her Alexa devices to dim the lights by a certain percentage, or she can change the color for mood lighting. The full color and white warmth array is excellent. She can have these lights change to warm white so they match the other bulb shades throughout the house. I would highly recommend these Kasa bulbs. Setup is very easy and no additional hub is required. They were ready to go right out of the box for voice control with an Echo Dot!

This is the first smart bulb I have purchased. I've only had this a couple weeks, but it's great so far. It was easy enough to link to my Alexa. The Kasa app couldn't find my wi-fi networks, but after I manually entered the info it connected immediately. I have nothing bad to say about this product. I don't have use for the color changing feature, but I have this in my son's room and he likes it. I love being able to dim it and change it from a cool to a warm white. I want one for every room now!

Love these bulbs. They are easy to set-up once you get the hang of it, give you a lot of color choices. I like the fact that for the whites, you can set the degree of how white vs yellow you want them. On some occasions, I set them at 3000+ K, which gives a more white light and other occasions more in the 2600-2800K range, which is a warmer white. You can also adjust the brightness, which also is a very cool feature. The integration with Alexa is quite easy and when you setup new scenes, Alexa detects them quickly once you link the Kasa app into Alexa. Overall great bulbs that are a nice addition to a smart home.
