The connectivity is a little hard to set up specially when it comes to print from a phone or a tablet, however printing from a laptop was not problem following the cd set up was easy to print from there.

price was great. size perfect. attractive since it has to sit out. I am really enjoying the wireless aspect. Am concerned with size of ink cartridge and price to replace. Guess that explains the low cost of the printer. Have only used it on black ink so far but coverage seems good.

I was looking for a wireless color multi-purpose printer that was easy to use, easy to set up, and fairly compact. Our printing needs are fairly simple--an occasional email, directions from MapQuest/Google, or printing out a picture to share with others. Nothing fancy, and I don't think we print out more than 10-20 pages per month. It's a pretty low amount of printing. We also wanted the scan & copy feature as we have a separate 15yr old scanner that takes up to much room. I purchased this on a Best Buy Flash sale so I got it for less than $35 shipped. Although I would have preferred a printer with a slightly smaller footprint, this Canon definitely fits the bill for our use. We don't print a ton of documents, nor do we print out pictures to be mounted anywhere. To this point I have only printed out a few text documents and a couple pictures on stock 20lb paper so I cannot speak to the quality of how pictures would print on glossy paper. However, what did print out exceeded our expectations and was more than adequate for our use. Installation wise, I had this set up with our laptops and cell phones within 20 minutes, it was so easy to do. Overall this is a great printer, especially for what we paid for it.

I bought this because I had a $20 gift card and two $5 certificates to blow. Was easy enough to set up if you know how wifi printers are generally setup in Win 8.1. Save yourself a headache and dont install the entire Canon software. Download the software, go through the setup process which will install the Canon 2900 series user registration. If it doesn't see your printer, click on next anyway. Then you get to the page to install software and drivers. Don't do it. Just go to "devices and printers" in control panel and you should see the Canon printer there. Printing on android was simple enough downloading the Canon print service app. Too bad you cant print in just black and white or draft mode in Android but I haven't seen many apps that do except Hammermill. I don't do Apple. Copying is as easy as pressing start. Scanning works well. My biggest gripe is that this unit doesn't have and auto document feeder. Believe me there will be times you will want it because who wants to stand there and feed documents one by one if you are scanning or copying multiple pages. But i guess you cant expect that for $25 . If you only print occasionally than I recommend it. You cant go wrong for the price. If you print often than I suggest spending another $20 and get one with an auto document feeder. I also dont care for the paper feeder. My Brother printer has the paper feeder inside the machine and looks much better. I'll use this until the ink runs out, Its about as cheap as the ink. But I'll probably go back to my Brother printer after that

Getting the printer to be recognized with a wireless connection from the installed software under Windows 10 was a bit of a hassle as the instructions are not very clear. But, once completed the printing and scanning have worked flawlessly. The printer is a bit noisey, but for $30 I can't complain.

I bought this printer for my mother and set it up for her. I had a little trouble with setting up the wifi printing, but stumbled upon a buyer's review on a different website and those instructions worked. In order for the network to recognize the printer, run through the WPS setup. That option does not appear automatically, so check the box to proceed an additional way and hit next. You will then be instructed to hold the wireless button down on the printer until the alarm LED blinks once. Then the wireless LED light on the printer will start blinking, which apparently puts the system in the receive mode. Now press the WPS button on the router. The network will register the printer and the wireless LED light on the printer will stop blinking. Wait about 3 minutes and then the software will register the printer. http://canon.com/ijsetup In terms of use, the printer copies, prints, and scans well. Medium level of noise.

I was looking for a cheap and white printer, just for small and fast things for print, and this printer did the job for me. Actually I did print a 4by6 photo on it and it came out really good. It is wireless so you can put it anywhere that you have electricity plug. Just remember that it doesn't have a display on it so don't put it too far from your computer, in case you need to do some setup. The only negative feedback I can say is that it is just a little bit louder than the other more expensive ones.

Good print and scan speed. Really easy to conect to home network. Easy to use on smartphones too. A little louder than others that I have had. Good printer for the price.

This is my first wireless printer and I am just loving not needing to connect my laptop to the printer every time I need to print something. Very convenient, the price was very reasonable and the ink pricing is very similar to what I was paying for my old HP. Very pleased with this purchase. Have recommended it to others already!

I am extremely happy with this wireless printer/scanner. It was easy to set up and does a nice job. It was a really good deal! I couldn't believe the price and it does everything my last more expensive printer does. I have already scanned some pictures and it prints them as well. Would definitely recommend buying this printer. Love having a wireless printer.

Bought this to go with the current Mac Mini, as soon as I plugged in the USB cable a window popped up asking me if I wanted to install the necessary drivers. I clicked yes and just like that I was printing ,had a Kodak that worked great but would not be recognized by my new Mac Mini! Only with my 2008 Mac Mini, so out of frustration I bought the MG2920 for the cool price of $29.99. Haven't set up the wireless part yet so will update this review when I do. Great printer bought it on Best Buys Deal of the Day!!

Great price for a wireless printer and for a cool printer.. You can send from many devices (PC, mobile phone, tablet, iPad)

Great set of utilities. Works flawlessly via WiFi. Brings two sets of regular cartridges that last long. Limited amount of sheets that can be loaded. Can print both sides, but you have to manually turn the page. No automatic feeder for scanning. Somewhat flimsy construction, but does an excellent job at copying, scanning and printing, and the price is unbeatable. Replacement cartridges reasonably priced. Canon web site support is also excellent.

Suits my needs for at home. I love that I can print from my phone, tablet, computer or cloud without the need to hook up a cable! It's pretty basic and I wouldn't say it's the most simple to install. (Following all the steps really takes some time). I also like the multifunction of the printer in a slightly smaller size than my old non wireless canon. It was definitely worth the low price I paid for it. I'm happy with the purchase.

So far this printer has been great. It was easy to get set up on my wireless network at home. My son had a project for school and we had to print out 30 full paper size color pictures. The quality, even on draft, was very good. I am pleased with this printer. Its lightweight too. For the price it is a winner.

I have been using this wireless printer for two years now and it works as good now as the first time I used it. We don't use it daily, probably a few times every couple of weeks, although at times like the holidays we use it several times a week, i.e., shipping labels, decoupage paper, holiday receipes, etc. It is the best printer I have ever used, even highly detailed images print out looking spectacular, and it prints out photographs that are nice and sharp, or as good as the photo you took anyways. I also love it's smaller size, it doesn't take up nearly as much space as my old wired printer. While it doesn't have a lot of extras, it's your basic printer, I would recommend this Canon wireless printer to anyone who is looking to get rid of their big, bulky, wired printer and is ready to try a wireless printer.

I was pleasantly surprised with the capabilities of this wireless printer for the price I paid. Reasonably easy to install, can print from both laptops and cell phones. Scanning and copying works well. Didn't try faxing since there is no land line phone.

I did not want to spend $400 on a mobile printer for the car. This (with a plug in converter) worked out great! It has it's own network for my smartphone to connect to and the iPhone Canon app for which so far this month works FLAWLESSLY. So, for less than $50 I got a mobile printer and car plugin. Great deal that has saved me a bunch of time and money mobile printing.
