I was tired of constantly running out of ink, and having to find places that still carried the cartridges for my epson 5100, which were getting harder to find and more expensive. Plus the old printer just seemed to be going through an insane amount of ink where id run out a few weeks after putting a new one in... without even printing much. SO i made the choice to upgrade to this super capacity model and at the same time bought ink refills since if i could, i would print more. Its been a YEAR and i've printed A FEW THOUSAND sheets in color, yet my ink is still over half full!!!! I haven't had a single issue with it, no clogged print heads, no sloppy ink, no smudging, no paper jams. Its pretty easy to setup on my phone and pc, holds its network connection (wifi) without issue, and scanning docs fully functional and can be emailed to you, or printed w the copy function. Refilling the ink could get messy only if you're clumsy and really the only thing i could complain about if i HAD to come up with a complaint, is that i didn't opt for the touch screen version so sometimes, ill click the display line a dork and then go duh and use the actual buttons lol. Super cheap cost to own, as the whole printer + ink costs less at purchase than i would've spent over the year for ink catridges with my other one. Does not have an autofeed option for dual sided scanned documents so you need to scan one side and flip the page to scan the other yourself, but i hardly need to use that feature. Id definately but this one again :) So simple, even a parrot can use it LOL

The printer was very easy to setup and works well with my Mac computers and iPhones. Having ink tanks instead of cartridges makes keeping ink easy. Overall a very good printer.

This is my first Epson printer and I gotta say I do love the fact that I do not have to fill up on ink constantly and the picture quality is awesome. They do have some little apps that are free when you buy this printer that also will allow you to do some fun things with your pictures so I am taking advantage and learning more about this new printer which I think is going to come in handy. Also, if you’re not looking for anything gawky, then this would be the printer for you. It takes a very little space.

Easy to set up, directions were clear. Print quality is great. LED screen makes it easy to follow if an issue. I would highly recommend this printer.

So far so good. It prints beautiful photos with glossy papers. Really takes a while to burn through all the ink, and the paper tray holds 250 sheets of paper so I dont have to keep on refilling it like every 50 sheets like my old printer. The sleep function is great so i can have it on the whole time, so it goes to sleep mode when not in use. Wakes up quickly and ready to print from my computer and my phone through the app. It is really versatile printer, probably only gripe i have with it is, that it stops prints when it auto detects a different kind of paper and i have to physically go to the printer to forward some settings to tell it that its okay to print. Other than that its been great.

Great quality. Highly recommend for someone with a home office that’s tired of shelling out way too much for ink cartridges.

Love this printer! It Saves so much on ink it’s a win win. Prints good quality in both black & color & best of all u can load a large amount of paper all at one time. The display is large & very easy to read.

I’ve gone through a lot of printers, and spent a lot of money on ink cartridges over the last 5 years alone! And it took weeks of researching online, multiple store visits, until I finally decided on trying this printer (I’ve never owned or used an Epson). And let me tell you…IM IN LOVE! In the 3 months I’ve owned this printer, I haven’t even used a 1/4 of the ink it came with (I do a lot of different printing, from hundreds of menu prints for a business, to printable htv), it would’ve taken at least 3 ink cartridge replacements with any other printer. At the end of the day… I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND, ESPECIALLY FOR A FIRST TIME EPSON USER!

Hands down the best printer I've ever owned. Prior to this I had the Epson XP440 and there was always some problem. Heads always needed cleaned and aligned every single use. It was such a hassle and ink always ran out and print quality was trash. The quality of this ecotank is phenomenal, truly. I printed off cake toppers for my nieces birthday cake and the quality was so good everyone thought I had bought them. I homeschool and have printed off countless worksheets so far and the ink has barely moved. I'd buy this thing a million times over

Easy set-up and connection. Very good quality printing. Much cheaper ink than the usual cartridges.

We have used this Epson 3830 for 5 months now - ink is not used near as much as our HP cart. We can purchase one ink bottle at a time and cost is less than half of the HP. Print quality and the interface is good. No paper jams. Keeping the Epson for sure

I love this printer with the refillable ink cartridges instead of the usual laser ink cartridges I have used in the past. The ink lasts a long time. You pay more for the printer initially but save a lot of money not buying the refills.

I really love this printer. It’s a very good prince, very nice and clear. I really recommend it. You could even change the ink to sublimation.

Epson is great. Never ending supply of ink. Prints fast. So far no issues. Clear prints. Does double sided.

I love this printer. It is efficient and puts out a good quality print. It is an all in one, copies, scans, duplex printing color or black and white. It ms great to see the amount of ink in the tanks as well. Adding ink is a breeze.

Honestly best printer ive ever owned, easy to add ink and amazing quality to print. No issues on my end with this one.

I've been using this for glossy sticker printing + regular printing. Does it quite well tbh. I have no complaints so far and it's actually decent. However, I might update this review in a couple of months to a 5 star or it might remain the same depending on its usage/ durability. The screen is easy to navigate and offers a variety of different settings. Anyways, here's a printed image of my friend's pfp on a single green sheet of paper that I printed out on said printer.

Excellent printer, I've had it for 2 years now. I use it all the time. Worth the price. I converted from decades of only using HP after theit quality degraded andb this Epson ET-3830 is fantastic.

Amazing product. easy to set up and calibrate and easy to see toner levels. Comes with the Black, Cyan, Magenta, and yellow toner bottles. Love that’s it’s earth friendly too! Scanner works great, printing is crisp and clean. Love that it has an app that I can print stuff via my phone if I do not have my PC or laptop with me. I am very happy with this purchase!
