They are nice when you are not able to use the chargin station the controls themselves last pretty long anyway but these are good to have although it sucks that you can use them with a controller which is what I was hoping

It's nice to have the grips on to play motion control games because the joy-con alone feels too slim. Also it has batteries included to keep your controller powered longer but they are not rechargeable.

It's always annoying when one joycon dies in the middle of a multi-player game, and the only way to charge it is to either attach it to the console or a grip which prevents you from being able to use each joycon independently. The battery pack allows you to keep playing and you can deal with charging it later.

When playing motion control games, the joy-cons are way too slim to have a good grip on them, with this add-on you can grip them easier and also they provide a means to have your controllers charging while you play.

These have a bit of bulk to them but save on doking when playing on the TV for some time. If you have to have the sleekness of the Joy-con...I wouldn't recommend it.

I like that it adds more grip, but it's really a kinda cheap implementation.

It does not turn off after a time of use. these will stay charging even at 100 percent and will drain a set of batteries like no tomorrow. useful if you like bigger controllers in hand, but not so much to justify the price tag.

This should be one of a must have add-on for longer play time players.

There is nothing wrong with this item and i'm sure it would work well but i returned them unopened after realizing you don't really need them unless you are going to be playing like crazy. The joycons charge themselves when the screen is docked and the charge lasts quite a while so for me they were not needed.

Bought these to play pokemon lets go. very comfortable compared to just the wrist strap

It feels good to hold, and of course the intended functionality is to extend the life without having to charge it.

I always forget to charge my joy cons since I have rechargeable batteries it works out perfectly

Awesome to have a backup when playing for a long time and you don't have to wait for charging.

Irs very confortable on the hand. I purchase itt with sole purpose of using it for more grip

The controllers hold for a long time so this purchase I found was not needed

They add a solid amount of charge to the joycons but the grips they add are rather unwieldy. Not a great recommendation unless going on a trip without a lot of time to charge.

Great to have for those gamers that enjoy playing for extra long extended periods of time!

The battery port works great for gamers who likes to play a long time.
