Having bought a new 4K flat screen TV from Best Buy, I wanted to go the next step and protect the purchase by acquiring a quality multi outlet surge protector. Obviously went back to Best Buy and had the staff there provide the options and decided on the Panamax 8-Outlet Surge Protector that enabled me to have multiple electronic plugs and a reasonably priced but high quality surge protecting device to protect my purchase. The Panamax device looks really sharp and fits the area behind the TV just right. I’m very pleased with the choice and the purchasing experience at Best Buy!!!

Seems to be doing the job so far. This surge protector worked perfectly for my setup as I have a closet on the back side of where my TV is, so I mounted this to a stud on the back of the wall and ran cords through the wall. It's meeting my needs.

Replaced my old unit with this new one. So far no problems. It provides all the inputs I need for my hi-amp receiver, 4K TV, ROKU, and DVD players. Should be a good investment for my home theatre setup.

I wanted a decent quality surge protector, with a short cord, that wasn’t black. A search brought me to this option, which is perfect.

I bought about 6 of this to protect all of my equipment, what can I said i haven't had any issues so it's doing what it's intended to do.

The basic question to ask about a power distributor/power conditioner/ surge protector is "Does it do its job?" The answer here is a qualified "yes." I only have a few quibbles. First, be aware that the electronics loss or damage warranty provided with this product covers you only if you have grounded power. That's not surprising, as surge protectors in this price range simply pass off to the ground the excess energy that a surge provides. If, however, like me, you live in a place like San Francisco where most homes do NOT have ground circuitry, you are not going to be able to reap the benefits of this unit's surge protection and you won't have warranty coverage for your products that die in a surge. That's not a criticism of this unit per se, but anyone buying in this price range should be aware of the limitations of entry-level surge protection technology. Second, another product of this unit's price point is that it only offers eight outlets. It used to be easy to find units in this price range with ten outlets. (That's what I need and the unit that this one replaces -- destroyed in a power surge -- offered ten outlets at about this price point.) Now, however, it seems that manufacturers are economizing at his price point by providing a smaller number of outlets. Third, and most importantly, the design of this unit makes it unfriendly to those who have a lot of wall warts or similar power adaptors. Half of the outlets are on the side of the unit, not on its top, and its short form factor makes the side outlets usable only for power cords if you want the unit to lie flat on the floor or wall as intended. In my case, because I had so many adaptors and because the outlets on the top of the unit are placed so close to one another, the workaround was standing the unit on its side between my tv cabinet and the wall, so that the side with the power cord outlets faces upwards and thus can be used for adaptors that otherwise would not fit if the unit were flush with a floor or wall. Once in place, the unit doesn't seem to have a negative impact on television image, system sound, or power stability. So, all in all, this does what it's supposed to do, more or less, as a power distributor and conditioner and, if you can ground it, I assume it also will work well as a surge protector.

Was recommended by the wise guys at Geek Sq. Not disappointed. Great value and can rest knowing my high-end electronics are secure. I bought 2 of these for good measure as we have multiple zones for entertainment.

Want expensive computers, equipment related to computers that is expensive protected. Then at a minimum pick up this surge protector. With a lifetime warranty if your equipment is hooked up properly to the protector how can you beat that for a warranty. Panamax will insure your equipment awesome stuff. Read the directions when the surge protector is being installed. Media equipment any of the panamax protectors are a must have to protect hi end equipment. These protectors are great!!!!

We tend to experience power issues/outages in the winter months where I live. Having strong line protection is important in protecting my expensive components. This product was recommended by staff. I've been using it a little over a month with my TV, a/v receiver, Blu-Ray player, set top box and sub-woofer. So far, so good. It's a little expensive, but I think it's a good value when I consider what it is doing.

I needed a power conditioner and surge protector for our tv, soundbar, DVD player, router etc. I replaced the 2 surge protector power strips we were using. This has 8 outlets, power conditioning, surge protection All on one unit. I picked it for the warranty and the fact I would only need the one Panamax. I liked it so much I bought a second one for the bedroom. I highly recommend it to protect your tv investment. The reviews were great

I've heard alot of good things about this brand of surge protectors. Hard to gage the quality since my appliances are just plugged up to it. But I do feel protected should a storm come.

I have a rack mounted Panamax unit for my home theater system. However, in the bedrooms, where I have "stand-alone", wall-mounted TVs, I use this Panamax because it easily mounts on the wall behind each TV. I am a proponent of this particular model because it conditions the power and also shuts down in low-voltage situations. Voltage spikes can obviously damage equipments but, low-voltage conditions can be just as devastating. I think a power conditioning unit is always better if your budget allows for it. Years ago, a Panamax power conditioner saved thousands of dollars of connected equipment from a spike that destroyed non-connected devices. Ever since, I've been a believer and only rely on Panamax.

Works well, although I’d consider a smaller plug in depending on the app, or an upgrade to the cabinet style unit if you need this much protection.

The surge protector gives me confidence that my TV is protected. Lot of slots to connect addition equipment.

I just purchased an expensive HD Smart TV and inquired about varying surge protectors. This one was recommended because, if your device should get fried while using this, the devices would be replaced up to $250,000. Cheap price for that kind of insurance.
