Customers frequently mention the positive aspects of the 6.8" Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® Bluetooth® Digital Media (DM) Receiver, such as its Apple CarPlay integration, sound quality, ease of installation, user-friendly interface, and affordable price. However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding the durability of the product, particularly the screen, which they claim may develop issues after a year of use. Additionally, a few customers have reported issues with the product's warranty and radio functionality.
Great screen - very responsive. Sounds good. Install was pretty easy (BestBuy install was backed up for weeks, so I did it myself). My only real complaint is the capacitive touch 'buttons' for volume, power, etc. They are horrible. You can't see them in daylight. You can find them by feel. You can't quickly change the volume or mute. I'd gladly give up screen real-estate for a knob. Maybe it's ok if you have steering wheel controls, but the vehicle this is in is older and doesn't. Doesn't seem like too many options out there with real controls unless you spend a fortune or go with some off-brand, though.
