I purchased this item to put two HDMI cords together I don't know why it's so hard to find a coupler this is the only one I could find at Best Buy and it was like goldplated very expensive but it's built very well I must say and it does work so it does it's job just fine but it was over $25 just for one and that seems a little bit overpriced to me so there's good and there's bad but in the end I'm a happy camper.

It's an HDMI coupler and it works. Plug one HDMI cable in on one end and another on the other end, you end up with one big HDMI cable. I don't know if one coupler works better than another if it gets the job done, but what I like about this coupler is that it is so small. There is no excess bulk to this device, it's as small as it's function allows. If you are looking to couple two HDMI cables together, look no further.

This was perfect, was looking for a long enough HDMI cord to go from the bedroom TV to my nightstand. Easy plug-in for Nintendo Switch dock, Laptop, etc. Just like most tech people these days, I have plenty of HDMI cords laying around, instead of having to buy a 16 foot HDMI cord, I just used this to couple two 10 foot cords at a fraction of the cost. No image degradation that I've noticed! Keep in mind not trying to tie together a major entertainment system.

This is perfect for Firestick install for a tv that is already mounted to a wall. You won't need to take it off the wall to plug it in. I just got a HDMI that was plugged into a bluray player, and connected the coupler to it, and plugged in the firestick. Super Easy. The coupler worked fine. I did not notice any quality loss.

This Rocketfish HDMI coupler can solve your length issue with HDMI cables. If you require more than the standard length HDMI cable of 9ft, then this coupler may be the solution for you. Joining two 9ft cables is much less expensive than purchasing a 20 or 25 ft cable. There is no visual loss in picture or sound quality as the coupler just passes the signal along.

I work as a Professional AV Tech. Owning a small Sound Business. I've used many HDMI couplers only to find most of them to be of poor quality. In the industry, we try to use the right length of cables with the appropriate combination of ends. HDMI to HDMI, HDMI to DVI, Etc... To reduce the risks of signal loss and to avoid another possible connection that will turn to failure. I really like these HDMI couplers made by Rocketfish. They are robust. Not to bulky like some couplers and I've seen them outperform other couplers when having issues with Signal loss. With HDMI being a Digital signal. It's very sensitive to interference.

I bought this HDMI coupler to join two HDMI cables together cause my tv is on the wall and I needed the extra length so I could hide the cable coming from my cable box. This worked perfectly and great quality.

I used this product to connect an Amazon firestick to my TV. The firestick is equipped with a male adapter on one end that allows it to be connected directly to a HDMI port. It also comes with a very short wire cable that can be used so that the firestick hangs down from the port. Neither solution would allow the firestick to be controlled its remote because the firestick was on the back side of the TV. The only way I could get the firestick to sit in front of the TV was to hook it up to a HDMI cable with this gender bender adapter. This situation is the same fore the Google Chrome Cast.

Needed a longer HDMI cord for a new device. Best Buy associate asked if i had another HDMI cored then suggested this little gem versus buying a very long cored. No loss of picture quality and in a jiffy I was using my new golf simulator.

This has allowed us to use existing and new HDMI cables to connect video cameras to a video switcher. This has allowed us more versatility in the placement of our cameras and seems to provide a secure connection of the cables.

Rocketfish is the best when it coves to AV wires and connectors. This is a solid heavier than expected connector that lets me connect my IPhone or IPad to my TV with an existing in wall cable. Don't buy the cheap connectors this one is worth the money

Many devices are starting to come with HDMI cables now, but occasionally they're not long enough. If you have multiple HDMI cables lying around your house, you can use this to connect them and make a longer cable. It worked fine for us, and it'll likely work for you, too.

It was exactly the piece I needed. I was looking to be able to connect a fire stick light to a projector via a 25 foot HDMI cable so I could avoid using additional extension cords. It works perfect.

I bought this Rocketfish HDMI coupler to use with a short HDMI cable that adapts a mini HDMI port to a standard port. It is solid and does the job of connecting the adapter cable to my KVM switch cable nicely.

Had a project where I needed just over the 25 ft cable length I ran, and this was the perfect solution. Makes a solid connection, I have pulled the cables and moved them around a lot, and still secure.

I use this to extend my HDMI cables a longer distance, since my cable box is far from my actual TV. Works lie a charm. Just plug an HDMI cable in on each end, and voila, instant extra length. Works great.

I was looking for a way to connect my Amazon fire stick (male HDMI) to an existing cable that already ran through the wall to my TV (male HDMI). This worked perfectly for that application.

This is a must have Adapter if you have an Amazon Fire stick or Chromecast. I have a flat screen TV mounted to the wall and my wife is OCD, so all my cables have to be concealed. So when ever I needed to hook my Firestick cr my Chromecast to the TV, I simply unplug the HDMI from my Apple TV box and plug the HDMI cable into the adapter and plug the adapter straight into the Firestick or Chromecast. That's it. It's just that easy. I love it.
