Bought this product back in May....long story short, I am now on my 3rd unit. The first was swapped after 5 days because the freezer wasn't keeping temperature. The second, I just received notice from Samsung that it is unrepairable, We noticed there was condensation over everything and our food was getting moldy quickly. After some investigation, the unit was blowing 84 degree air out the back vents (see pic). These temperature swings caused everything to have condensation. In order to keep the food cold, I need to set the refrigerator to the lowest setting. The tech said the inside temp was 8-10 degrees above the setting. The worst part is dealing with Samsung support. It has been a week and they said they are still reviewing my issue, despite the fact that the tech got confirmation it was unrepairable. Now I get to wait 2-3 more weeks to get another. I requested another but they said since Best Buy swapped it, they didn't have a record of it so they couldn't count that as a failure. The unit itself was ok, but if it doesn't keep a constant temperature, what good is it? At least the fingerprint resistant finish is nice.

I recently purchased a refrigerator online. The following day, I reached out to the outlet store to inquire about the condition of the appliance. When I called, I was directed to a call center, where I was informed that outlet stores do not have a front desk to assist customers directly. Instead, I was advised to visit the store in person to inspect the refrigerator myself. Although the store is 22 miles from my residence, I decided the trip was worthwhile given the price I paid and the listing description. Upon arrival, my wife and I, along with the salesperson, thoroughly inspected the refrigerator and finalized the purchase. A few days later, the refrigerator was delivered to my home, but it was not in the same condition as it was in the store. It had two additional large dents, as well as a third dent on the Samsung logo. Additionally, the second "S" in the Samsung logo fell off when the delivery team placed the refrigerator in my kitchen. I spoke with the installer, who advised me to contact Best Buy for assistance. I called Best Buy's customer service line at 1-888-237-8289 and was told that I would need to visit the store in person to address the issue. This would require a 44-mile round trip. I purchased an extended warranty for this refrigerator and, overall, I really like the appliance. However, this has been a frustrating experience. If not for the competitive price of the refrigerator, I likely would not have pursued a purchase through the outlet store.

the Flex drawer is just another refrigerator drawer. It really doesn't flex much in temperature. Had lunch meat go bad in it. I've had the refrigerator for 15 months and the ice maker has already gone out. You HAVE to turn the water off to the refrigerator in order to change out the water filter. And the refrigerator is extremely hard to move. So I have to turn it off at the road. Don't buy this!!!

Terrible fridge. Icemaker was producing frost covered uneven ice. The crushed ice would clog the Shute 4 repair attempts by factory. Finally insisted full refund for purchase.

Worst purchase ever. I want my money back. They've replaced the ice maker 2 times and it still leaks. I also had to replace the whole door because the flapper to release the ice wouldnt stop flapping. The refrigerator is only 3 years old.

Fridge was damaged on installation 2 months ago, no one is willing to service the appliance. Not impressed with Best Buy’s repair program. The installer placed styrofoam under the wheel as a fix and recommended I place a wooden shim as a permanent solution for my new $3k fridge.

Buyer beware of this refrigerator. This is not unique to me. I read reviews and was willing to take the chance I would get a better performing fridge, and the majority have had a good experience. Nothing could be further from the truth. There are several class action lawsuits against Samsung for how bad this fridge operates. See details about Samsung via Better Business Bureau reviews in New Jersey, where their HQ is located. The ice maker frosts over, requiring knocking down frost and ice every two weeks. It also does not cool to the temp displayed on the door. It condensates so badly, food is drenched in water. Hovers around 45-50 degrees. After numerous repairmen to refill Freon, and so called perform a thorough repair, nothing has ever “fixed” this fridge, and just paid $4k for another more dependable brand. Listen, don’t take a chance on this fridge unless you are willing to deal with poor Samsung customer service, and living with a problem. Yes; it’s a better price than the others. But I could have saved myself nearly $3K with tax, and purchased a more dependable fridge in the first place. I cannot stress enough, every single person who has purchased this fridge has issues. Some people are willing to deal with it. I am not. 5 years to finally say enough, is too long. If you decide to risk it, come back and post a review like I am, humbly eating crow because I didn’t believe the bad reviews. This refrigerator is poorly designed, and no repairman can fix that.

I found this Samsung refrigerator Model: RF27T5201SR/AA SKU: 6401612 on BestBuy website as an open box labeled as "fair" condition for $638.99 located in Bowie, MD outlet store with no pictures provided. I called the number associated with the listing 202-387-6150 to ask about the possibility of receiving pictures of it. I was told by the gentleman who answered my call that he would contact the store where the fridge is being stored to get a visual inspection. He came back to me after 20 minutes saying that the only wrong thing with the fridge is "missing documentation" and this is a great deal. I asked him to be sure because I live far away near IAD and would rent a pickup truck to pick up the fridge. His answer was 100% positive of the accuracy of the information provided. So, I proceeded with purchasing the fridge and received the receipt instantly. On Sunday, the next day I rented a pickup truck from IAD and went ahead with my daughter to pick up the fridge from Bowie which is 57 miles away. When we arrived, my daughter and I were extremely shocked when we saw the damage of the freezer handler and a big dent in the face of the door. I told the store manager to double check this is the correct fridge I purchased based on the guarantees I received from that gentleman I spoke with. Well, the manager was nice and tried to find a similar fridge with no luck. I called the same number I called the day before and told the story to a lady who said that the gentleman I spoke to and lied or miss informed me is a contractor not a BestBuy employee therefore BestBuy does not feel obligated to correct his mistake. This was, in short words, my painful and frustrating experience with BesBuy..I will never do any transactions with this store in my life.

Purchased from the bestbuy outlet. It was a beautiful fridge. It had a great design and size. But it was leaking water and the freezer was not staying cold. Repair guy said it was not repairable. Customer service was great though and finally ended up sending me a new refrigerator. Not as nice and smaller but it works.

WARNING!! The icemaker in these Samsung refrigerators will freeze up and stop working within about a year of owning the fridge. You'll need to either use your warranty or use a hairdryer to defrost the inside of the icemaker every few months. Look it up - it's a known issue. Totally ridiculous.

Upside: good design, running quiet, good price Downside: icemaker not working The icemaker started inconsistently dispensing ice cubes within 6 months. After 2 repairs [by Samsung service contractor] for the same problem, the icemaker totally stopped dispensing ice. Warranty expired. I would NOT recommend this product.

We have already been waiting for more than 30 days for the delivery of the refrigerator , today they simply came to my house , and do not color the refrigerator in the kitchen saying it could not because of the stair rail , my husband said he would remove the rail , the employee he said he would not put it anymore because he had sent the photo of the handrail to best by , in short , laziness a lot of laziness at work and making life difficult for people . I'm frustrated and totally disappointed.

The ice maker quit after 4 weeks. WEEKS. Best Buy washed their hands after they sold it, so I’ve been hashing it out with Samsung for getting someone to come and service it even though they only can come during the hours I work. Very frustrating and very unhappy. Wish I would’ve never bought it. 2400.00 for a fridge that breaks after 4 weeks. The fridge I replaced worked just fine for 14 YEARS.

I'll start with the icemaker. it holds about a quart of ice, so if you are planning to drink more than a couple glasses of water a day, pass because it can not keep up. Not to mention that it doesn't start dispensing ice for at least 5 seconds after you press the button so plan to spend plenty of time waiting for one cube at a time to dispense. That said, the doors' "stainless" outsides are cheaply made, we have had this for 2 months and probably have 5-6 dents. One I turned and bumped into the door with a plastic plate and it dinged it. I believe aluminum foil is stronger than whatever crap they covered these "stainless" doors with. Third, the icemaker/water dispenser randomly drips water(we found this is due to ice catching in the ice door) and there is no tray in the door to actually catch the water, so it will just run down the fridge and flood your floors. They should really have these things up and running in the store so people can see what garbage they really are before they waste 3k. Definitely a disappointment for the price, and of course, non-returnable as it was over 30 days before it really started acting up.

Don't buy this fridge. The filter is very hard to put in and the fridge is extremely difficult to clean. You're not able to lift up the bottom layer right above the draw pull it out and clean. That means, if anything spills there you're screwed and it stays there forever.

Bought and installed in mid June 2020. Fridge was good. Doesn't fingerprint and has a decent layout. Ice maker and water is nice. We were happy with it. If you asked me to review a few months ago I would probably give 4 or 5 stars. December 2020, ice maker has issues. Its malfunctioning, leaking and then freezing on the unit, creating too much ice, does not chop the ice anymore, etc. I contacted the support line and they give me a troubleshooting guide, but I can't even do it because its frozen stuck. They are sending someone out next week, but they told me my warranty expired November 2020... a mere 5 months after purchase? They told me not to worry and they'll waive parts and labor, but I'm really worried long term about this fridge. Our last fridge lasted nearly 20 years and this one is having problems within 6 months. Not to mention it is relatively expensive. At least, at this price, you expect it to last a single year without issue. Not a good sign. I'll update the review for better or worse. And I'm really hoping the support desk misspoke when they said there is a 5 month warranty. I was under the impression it was 1 or 2 years at least.

The fridge looks great. And my wife and I loved the layout and spacing of it, but the freezer did not work. It took over 3 days before even starting to get cold, and it never came to temperature (0F) We got it replaced, and the 2nd fridge did the exact same thing except the freezer never got cold. Samsung support was no help. I understand sometimes you can get a defective part, but 2 in a row? That's a bad sign.
