Purchased this laptop in July 2024. Had almost everything I was looking for in a new laptop - except the amount of RAM I wanted. But I was willing to compromise because of other features. I use this daily and take excellent care of my devices. This normally sits on my desk, and when I transport it, it resides in my Swissgear laptop bag. I am not rough with my devices. 6 months in - the glass develops a crack along the left side up to the top. It doesn't impair use but only looks bad. The display and touch screen still work. Samsung says the issue was from physical damage. Tons of other users say otherwise. This is a well-known defect in the laptop. Documented on numerous websites and forums including Samsung Community. They have "offered" for me to send it in (2 weeks turnaround) to be evaluated and potentially repaired. Samsung chat initially declined it would be covered under warranty, but when I pressed and showed other documented cases of the same issue the chat rep said it would be covered. Other users have had their screens replaced under warranty to only have the issue reappear. Extremely fragile screen design.

I fell in love with this laptop. The screen was pristine and so clear, it functioned well and was very responsive. Fast forward 6 months. I shut down my laptop and it never came back on. No lights, to power, no charging. Nothing. Brought it to Best Buy's service center for repair however It was not repairable & had to be replaced.

Works ok. Haven't had the screen crack yet. My issue is that when streaming Netflix the video stops yet the soundtrack keeps playing. This doesn't work out when my Granddaughter is trying to watch. Doesn't happen on any of our other computers or devices so it has to be the systems wifi or just weak video. Wanted to olike this machine BUT---

Honestly, one of the worst laptops I’ve ever used. Needs to be restarted every time I open it, forces you to sync to MS 1 Drive (I purchased 1TB memory for a reason), lots of adds I never asked for. Just froze for the 3rd time attempting to sort through photos. Was hoping the syncing with my Galaxy phone would be simple, but it’s been anything but. Screen is nice, the OS and laptop itself would not recommend. Over priced for the 16GB RAM.

This is very similar to a Samsung phone. If you love your Samsung phone, you will love this. If you do not have a Samsung phone, the blow wire will drive you crazy. It has a great screen. The touchpad is mediocre at best.

Would be pretty good if it was allot better. Pretty slow for its specs. Mouse pad is pretty bad when it actually works. Should have saved the money and just got a HP. I see why it was on clearance!

This keeps the battery lifespan relatively constant, even after prolonged use, allowing you to enjoy your Galaxy Book battery for longer. Products sold by Samsung are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the limited 12-month warranty period specified for each product. If you are frequently experiencing unexpected shutdowns, drastic decreases in battery life, or any other battery-related issues, visit the nearest Samsung Customer Support for technical assistance. You may qualify for a free replacement or get a paid service, depending on your device’s warranty. Love the laptop but both that I bought developed hairline cracks all throughout the screen. Not due to any falls or misuse. Samsung needs to offer free warranty on screen replacement or they are just ignoring the problem.
