Same quality is your typical Sonos. However, the move to I purchased from Best Buy stopped working after just under two years.. a consumer should not have to buy extended warranties to avoid cases such as this. Products of this caliber and price range should last much longer.. will not buy any more Sonos products.

The Sonos app is the key to the function of this speaker, without the app functioning properly, it will not allow you to connect to bluetooth! I've spent the entire evening trying to make it sync so that the speaker works, I've watched countless Youtube fixes, I had read forums on trouble shooting the problem, tried them multiple times, NOTHING! It shouldn't be this difficult to use and operate a carry around speaker. I wanted this to work and I've seen the hype, but save your time, money, and aggravation, just don't buy this.

You have to be careful with Bestbuy and open box Sonos Move 2. Purchased Open Box Move 2 and inside was an Original Move. They are nearly identical , and I was unaware. I was scammed, Since I didn’t figure this out until after the return date , Best Buy refuses to accept return or exchange leaving me with a product I have no warranty for. Sonos products sound great. Bestbuy’s customer service and vetting of open box items is a sham.

I purchased this speaker today 08/24/2024. It was brand new. I was hoping to use it to play audio from a slideshow. It would not charge even when I connected it directly to the power source. It would not charge on the charging station or connected directly. Do not bekieve the hype from other reviewers. The Move 2 neefs to be moved out! It is going back to the store tomorrow!

Horrible connectivity. I’m pretty good at technology but I could not get this speaker to connect. I mean I got it to work temporarily then it would disappear from the app. I called customer service and they not helpful. The speaker is probably ok but jeez the software is not USABLE. I guess this is a huge problem with Sonos, which I didn’t know until I got the speaker. So I returned it and got the Sony Ult field 5. The Sony is beyond amazing.

Received open box product that didnt work. Labelled as excellent condition and inspected by best buy prior to resell. Obviously it was not inspected. Also was missing charging component. Would give no stars if possible.

Horrible experience, getting the run around from Best Buy and Sonos. Device stopped working after the 14 days return policy. But the sound is good when it worked. And its hard to set

It was delivered without a receipt. It cannot be charged up for use. I have 4 of these same speakers with no issue; however, this one cannot be turned on and does not charge up. Will be returning it to a Best Buy store

Was never able to sync with older Sonos equipment which was a shame see other manufacturers make set up so easy. Returned speaker after one day bought a Turtlebox and set it up in minutes

Initially I loved my Move 2, I purchased it with three other Sonos speakers. Set up was very easy to set up all four it took maybe 10 minutes. However, out of nowhere after about two months of owning the move to, it will no longer connect to the other speakers. In fact, it doesn’t even connect to Bluetooth. Every time it takes a couple tries and once it does connect it cut in and out frequently. I’m hoping I can exchange the move 2.

After 2 hours on the phone with Sonos support, we still couldn't get Move2 speaker to work with our EXISTING Sonos network. Speaker could see the WiFi network but wouldn't download the required update. The app has always been pretty worthless, too. Don't waste your time & money.

This thing is pretty bad. Doesnt sound as good as the era. Also deosnt work most of the time. Signal constantly drops out. Now it just wont connect at all.

You have to install the app, creat and sign into a sonos account before you can even use the speaker. Not cool its a freaking speaker!

I am sorry to hear about your Move 2 experience. If the battery on your Sonos Move 2 isn’t lasting as long as advertised, here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure your Move 2 has the latest firmware updates. Sometimes, updates include improvements to battery performance.
Battery Calibration: Fully charge the battery to 100%, then let it drain completely before charging it again. This can sometimes help recalibrate the battery sensor.
Power Management Settings: If there are any power-saving settings or options in the Sonos app, make sure they are enabled to optimize battery life.
Reduce Volume and Usage: High volume levels and continuous usage can drain the battery faster. Try lowering the volume or reducing usage to see if it helps.

I own Sonos Arc, Sub, (2) Ones & (1) Five, all work perfectly. The Move 2 (2nd gen) misses the mark. Audio output is intermittent (approx 3” of silence for every second of actual audio). I purchased for AirPlay capabilities and it fails miserably. I addressed this with Chesapeake, VA (Greenbrier) Best Buy staff and was advised because I purchased a month prior and did not purchase extended warranty, there was nothing they could do. Thus this review so other consumers do not fall into same trap. $450 lesson learned.
