I love my home Sonos system and I use it daily but I’ve never had any luck with the Move. This is the second one I bought and it’s not functioned properly. I do not recommend. Everything else I own from Sonos is incredible. I think I have four other products, arc, two five’s, a one and an older play three.

Likes: Long battery life, weight, extra bass, portable, high quality audio, air play DISLIKES: when connected via bluetooth the audio would disconnect periodically at least once or twice every song. Very annoying considering the cost and despite being close to the speaker, the songs would cut out, but come back on after a second or two. This does not happen on wifi though, only bluetooth (bt from iPhone 14 Pro) additional comment, Sonos Move 2 also sounds better than my apple homepods (OG) in regard to bass and clarity.

I've got a house full of Sonos speakers. The Move 2 is awful. I can only connect to it maybe 25% of the time, most of the time it just won't play. There's no easy way to see the battery percentage. If it connects, the sound is great, but most of the time it's just a $500 brick.

3 stars because when it works it does sound good. This thing is simply incapable of streaming lossless music from Apple Music. I have Arc, 2 ones, two subs, and a roam. They will all play lossless but this thing will just skip and skip. And if it does play at some point it will just quit. Put it right next to the WiFi and other speakers and still does the same thing

Very dissappointed in how misleading Sonos is about this product. While it it “compatible” with Google Home, all you can do it add it to the home app and control playback from there. You cannot add google assistant (but you can ard Alexa??) which means the speaker can’t be added to any speaker groups or sync.

Sound is amazing! My issue was with the bluetooth dropping out when connected to my tv system. It happens sporadically.

If and when you can get this speaker to play using Apple AirPlay or as a selected speaker on Spotify, Pandora, or anything else it’s sounds nice. It seems that Sonos wants to force you to use their horrible app instead of the native AirPlay built into most all streaming services. If you have an existing Sonos system and you want to add this to it, you’ll be fine. If you don’t have a Sonos system, then don’t buy this product

For some reason the speaker I had purchased continued to lag very badly. I called customer service to try every possible way to fix the lag, but no matter what I did the lag would remain. I had to return this speaker because I could not justify spending this much money on a speaker that lags anytime I play music. The quality of the sound was amazing though. Maybe I got a defective one, but overall was disappointed I had to return it.

I almost returned this speaker. It kept cutting in and out . I purchased the entire sonos sytem so I could use this speaker to listen to TV only in another room or outside while watching the tv on my deck with the glass doors closed . I think I finally corrected the issue without having to buy a new router .

It’s frustrating when a product stops working, especially after such a short period. Here’s what you can do to address the issue with your Sonos Move 2:
1. Perform a Reset:
Soft Reset: Hold down the power button for about 5 seconds until the device powers off, then turn it back on.
Factory Reset: If a soft reset doesn’t work, try a factory reset. Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds until you see a flashing red light, then release the button. Keep in mind that this will erase any settings on the device.
2. Check for Firmware Updates:
Open the Sonos app and check if there’s a firmware update available for your Move 2. Sometimes issues arise from outdated software, and an update could resolve them.
3. Try Different Power Sources:
Ensure that the speaker is properly charged or try plugging it into a different power outlet. Sometimes, power issues could be related to the charging cable or adapter.
4. Contact Sonos Support:
If the above steps don’t work, contact Sonos customer support @ support.sonos.com for further assistance. Since your Move 2 is still relatively new, it should be covered under warranty. They may offer to repair or replace the device.
5. Document Your Issue:
Keep a record of all the steps you’ve taken, as well as any communication with Sonos support. This documentation can be helpful if you need to escalate the issue or if you’re offered a replacement or refund.
Hopefully, these steps help you get your Sonos Move 2 back up and running or secure a replacement if needed.

Good sound, but unfortunately you need the app to operate. The app is terrible. Seems Sonos is just refusing to fix the problems with the app.

Do not trust open-box descriptions, the product I received was not the product listed, it did not come with the materials that should have been included. I was also delivered without working components like the charger. When BestBuy promised a replacement, a replacement never arrived.

Hello,
I'm sorry to hear that you experienced issues with the Bluetooth connection on your Sonos Move speaker. Ensuring a reliable and seamless Bluetooth connection is important for the overall user experience, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
If you're still encountering difficulties with the Bluetooth connection, I recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps:
Ensure the Speaker is in Bluetooth Mode: Press and hold the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi button on the back of the Sonos Move until you hear a tone indicating that Bluetooth mode is activated. The LED indicator should also start flashing blue to indicate that the speaker is ready to pair.
Check Device Compatibility: Ensure that the device you're trying to connect to the Sonos Move via Bluetooth is compatible and supports Bluetooth audio streaming. Also, make sure that the device's Bluetooth feature is turned on.
Proximity and Interference: Make sure that the device you're pairing with the Sonos Move is within the Bluetooth range (typically around 30 feet). Additionally, minimize potential sources of interference, such as other electronic devices or wireless networks, that may affect the Bluetooth signal.
Reset Bluetooth Settings: If you're still experiencing issues, you can try resetting the Bluetooth settings on the Sonos Move. Press and hold the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi button on the back of the speaker for about 10 seconds until you hear a tone indicating that the settings have been reset. Then, try pairing your device again.
Update Firmware: Ensure that your Sonos Move speaker is running the latest firmware version by checking for updates in the Sonos app. Sometimes, firmware updates can address connectivity issues and improve overall performance.
If you continue to experience problems with the Bluetooth connection despite trying these steps, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team for further assistance. We're here to help ensure that you have a positive experience with your Sonos Move speaker.
Thank you for your feedback, and I apologize again for any inconvenience caused by the Bluetooth connection issues. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this matter for you.

it was not very user friendly. The Bluetooth never did work to connect. I took it back to the BestBuy in Gainesville, Fl, and they couldn't get it to work even downloading the App. Took it to a friend's home where he installs control panels for hospitals and no luck with him.
