A: You asked this 4 weeks ago and the specs still incorrectly say that you can. Color me disappointed! I wish I'd read the Q&A first. Seriously thinking of bringing it back!

I just installed in this in my 2002 F-150. Fit well with little modification. Had wanted a double DIN but too much modification was needed to the dash. Love everything about this radio - sound quality, Bluetooth, hands free calling, etc. Can be a little tricky to operate at first. The only disappointment is that the specs say it has "selectable color illumination". This model does not. Now I have blue illumination on the stereo with green everywhere else. Not a huge deal but it is is disappointing when specs are incorrect, so beware.

My 37 year old Chrysler/Infinity 5-band cassette radio was starting to have intermittent problems due to its age. I wanted to keep the old Infinity premium speakers w/ amp in the car as they sounded great. They were a $500 option back in 1987 (that's $1,400 today). So I got the Sony MEX-N4380Bt which does it all, 10-band equalizer, CD, Bluetooth and sounds great from my old speakers. The wiring allowed to initiate the amp on each speaker when the radio is turned on, which was a plus. For you audiophiles it is not a top end radio like the Infinity I had in the car but it sounds close by adjusting the equalizer to your liking.

With a whiff of ozone and the scent of expensive trouble, I actually smelled the stock radio in my 2005 quitting before it went, you know, totally radio silent. Oh well. It had a good run. After waiting way longer than I should have, I finally decided to bite the bullet and replace it myself. It had been, oh, I don't know, about a thousand years since I last installed a car radio, an 8-track system I put in my first car, a 1973 Ford LTD. Yes. I said 8-track, This one reviewed well and I've always been a big SONY fan so I ordered it along with the install kit. I soldered the numerous connections for the pigtail, shrink-wrap sleeving them all for good measure. Hey, it looked like I knew what I was doing! Anyway, utilizing some online video, I tore out the old Mustang radio and slid in the holder and the new radio. I had my tunes back in no time and this thing sounds great! The CD player too. Buy with confidence. One word to the wise. If you did a competent job with all your connections and one day the radio starts popping in and out on you anyway, trust me, it wasn't your installation causing the problem. Just pop off the removeable face plate (I NEVER remove mine during normal operation) and clean the contacts with alcohol and a soft swab. Reinstall the face plate and you'll be back in business. Mine did this once and ONLY once. Thanks Best Buy! And thanks SONY. You've done it again!
