There are no samples in the store when I went to buy it with 12 speeds, 400 watts, mixing bowl with a handle, the same attachments and an additional splash guard as the KitchenAid but $150 less I went ahead and ordered it and had it shipped to my home it arrived quickly it is good looking and heavy duty I am very pleased.

It gets the job done. I'm always worried that the top and bottom are going to break apart because of how much the top shakes side to side when mixing doughy type mixtures. I have mixed many things in it and it is still working. It's a little loud so I have to use it in the midday because my neighbors will wake if I use it too early or too late. I like the attachments and wish I bought an extra bowl. I should have considered what I wanted in a mixer when deciding to purchase. I wish it had different size bowls that I could use and had a rotating base like the one my mom"s used to have. I don't like the way it seems to struggle to mix the thicker doughs.. on the higher speeds I have to watch It Constantly because it moves and bounces so much on the counter it may fall off. It's better than not having one. It's easy to use. Adding ingredients as it is mixing is not an easy task anddoessend stuff flying out of the bowl despite my efforts to find new ways to making adding ingredients easier and less messy. It's easy to clean though. Not made very well though somehow a dent wasade in the middleish part of the bowl and part of one of the mixers chipped off. I haven't put them in any kind of harsh environments that could cause those things to happen yet there they are. Read other reviews before making a decision because other people may be happier with this Product Than I. Good luck

We went through 2 Sunbeam brand mixers, both went 'kaput' after only a year or so. We were looking for something heavier duty but without having to pay the premium for the KItchenAid line. We looked at this Hamilton Beach and could immediately tell it was very well built, it is actually quite heavy compared to most other brands, with power to spare and a warranty that simply cannot be beat (anything at all goes wrong in the first 3 years, they ship you a new mixer, with prepaid label to return the old one-now THAT is a warranty you do not see very often these days...). Our first workout for this unit was homemade pasta dough, which is quite tough on a mixer (requires alot of power). This mixer plowed through dough-making like nothing, like there was hardly anything in the bowl! Overall, we are quite pleased, and the warranty gives extra confidence in the purchase. Highly Recommended!
