Almost 18 years no problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this in the black color when my son was 3 years old he will be 21 years old in a few weeks. I have never had a single problem with the functions of this mixer. I've made pound cakes, chocolate chip cookies, occasionally pizza dough and cheesecakes in it over the years and it never quit on me. Never had to get it repaired. Other than cleaning it its been really easy to own and use. My only con is that the painted numbers for the speeds have almost rubbed completely off. Its no a big deal because you can feel each step up in speed as you move the lever but maybe they should just engrave the speeds into the machine, it is metal after all. I think anyone would be happy with this mixer just be reasonable about what you are using it for. Any mixer by even the most expensive brand can struggle under heavy loads. There are many great stand mixers out there that don't break the bank these days.
