There are no samples in the store when I went to buy it with 12 speeds, 400 watts, mixing bowl with a handle, the same attachments and an additional splash guard as the KitchenAid but $150 less I went ahead and ordered it and had it shipped to my home it arrived quickly it is good looking and heavy duty I am very pleased.

We went through 2 Sunbeam brand mixers, both went 'kaput' after only a year or so. We were looking for something heavier duty but without having to pay the premium for the KItchenAid line. We looked at this Hamilton Beach and could immediately tell it was very well built, it is actually quite heavy compared to most other brands, with power to spare and a warranty that simply cannot be beat (anything at all goes wrong in the first 3 years, they ship you a new mixer, with prepaid label to return the old one-now THAT is a warranty you do not see very often these days...). Our first workout for this unit was homemade pasta dough, which is quite tough on a mixer (requires alot of power). This mixer plowed through dough-making like nothing, like there was hardly anything in the bowl! Overall, we are quite pleased, and the warranty gives extra confidence in the purchase. Highly Recommended!

Much quieter than my old Kitchenaid, and packs the power I need. I love the tilting head!

I've fallen in love with this mixer. It was larger than I thought it would be but the first time I used it, I was impressed by the power. I've always had mixers that rotated the bowl so it will take me some time to get used to the beater area moving but I think I'll like it.

I have had the Kitchen Aid and this mixer is every bit as good in every way whatever you are mixing. I decided to get this model because of the 400-watt motor MORE powerful than competitors. I chose the color white because other more trendy colors cost more at the time of the purchase.

Very good price point compared to other models. It is light weight, so easy to move and store, but still has plenty of power.

This mixer was sent quickly and really does the job. My wife makes a lot of cookies, etc, and she says it is really strong.
