There is no sd card capability inside them & you have to buy a separate module to even save your video unless you subscribe to one of their plans. The modules lose connection multiple times a week and sometimes just stop working completely, with no help from Amazon or Best Buy after 15 days. So keep looking if you are in the market for a real security camera setup.

Posted .Hello, Tazman812. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Blink Outdoor 4 wireless security system. I am sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing and have some recommendations to try and help with the module losing connection. I first recommend checking your Wi-Fi signal strength where the module is located and moving the device to where it has the best connection. Power cycle your Sync Module by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Power cycle your camera by removing the batteries for five seconds, then reinserting them. Check the battery level and replace them if needed. Check the signal strength between the Sync Module and the Outdoor 4 camera. However I got another from BB for using in a different area which has WiFi authentication through browser like airport and it didn’t work and I had to return!

As I had an original Blink cameras set, I already had an account so setup was really fast. These are very good for indoor use. Specially in low transit areas like private apartments halls. I never try them outside. To hang them on the wall it is really easy to do the holes for the stand. and they are easy to pop in and out of it.
