I had fairly high expectations purchasing a nearly $5000 oven the overall, it doesn’t function any better than my 25-year-old Kenmore that it replaced. It is cosmetically appealing, it looks very nice. Otherwise the function isn’t anything special. Unfortunately all of the controls are maintained by a touchscreen. I will have to tell you that the touchscreen does not work very well. Trying to turn off the kitchen timer, I’m tapping the screen over and over for 30 seconds and sometimes just won’t shut off. And then as I’m shutting off the timer, the oven shuts off. This is during the first two weeks of use. I can’t imagine what’s going to happen after thousands of hours of use. I can pretty much guarantee that the touchscreen is going to go bad as it is low quality - already faulty after using it 10 times. You cannot individually control the lights. Either both lights on or both lights are off. Again that’s disappointing for a $5000 oven. The display doesn’t particularly make sense. I don’t need a large display saying 400° that’s on all the time. It should go back to the clock so I can see what time it is from across the room. That’s just not intuitive. Overall again the entire touchscreen is lacking and is a poor quality. The doors themselves aren’t parallel to one another. They are crooked. They’re off by just a few millimeters but again for this kind of money everything should be dead on perfect. See photos below. The top door doesn’t align to the panel and the bottom door also doesn’t align to the top door. Same thing as visible on both sides. The title says it. Overall this is a disappointment. I would expect this type of quality for $1500 but not for $5000. I would take my old Kenmore back and return this for a better option though the installer kept it and I’m pretty much stuck. To add insult to injury, the Best Buy certified installer damage my cabinets when installing.

I absolutely love this double oven! Setting it up with the app on my phone was simple, and now I can preheat, turn it off, or adjust the temperature remotely—whether I’m cleaning or out running errands. One of my favorite features is the built-in camera in the top oven. The image quality is excellent, and it lets me check on my food without having to open the door—perfect for busy days when I'm multitasking. This is a souffle makers dream. To my surprise, it also has an air fryer function, which has been a game changer. I had no idea when I bought it, but now I don’t need to clutter my counters with a separate appliance. This built-in version works even better than our old countertop air fryer and can handle much larger batches of food. I was initially skeptical about the precision cooking feature, but it’s won me over—especially for things like potatoes and sweet potatoes, which come out perfectly cooked every time. I’m excited to try it on more dishes soon. The slide-out racks are another smart design choice. I originally wanted a French door oven but couldn’t make it work with my kitchen layout. Thankfully, the slide-out mechanism makes it incredibly easy to access food without burning yourself or awkwardly reaching into a hot oven. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into every detail of this oven. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance, thoughtfully designed double oven.

Love the features of these ovens. Programming is simple and the compatible app notifies me when the oven is preheated and when cooking is done. The app makes it easy to order accessories. Cooking times are true to recipe directions. When using the convection mode, the ovens automatically adjust the cooking temperature. The display is pretty and provides the ability to change the wallpaper.

Had 2 Ovens delivered both with the same issue the alignment from door to door to control panel doesn't line up perfectly. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved

Love our new stove! It looks great and works well. It heats up quick. It is easy to use. It has great features and a nice clock. It is a great oven.

Not only is the design incredible here, the tech side is pretty crazy as well. The oven looks really nice in my kitchen, and when you pull down on one of the handles you can tell it’s really well made. The lighting inside the oven perfectly lights up the food, it’s almost fun to watch things cook. See photos. The tech side is super convenient in the fact it has built in foods and doesn’t need a preheat function. You can just start the oven by selecting one of the foods under precision cooking and put it in the oven. This oven is really nice and worth the price. The camera is kind of useless but cool to have.

Note this is a Best Buy review and not a review for Cafe double oven. I can’t review the oven because Best Buy messed the order up so badly they never even delivered on the October 25th scheduled delivery date. Long story short Best Buy is like oh no big deal you can easily change delivery dates no problems we do it all the time. All of my items showed in stock ready to deliver. They bumped my delivery date back almost two weeks due to renovations. I was rescheduled for October 25th and lovely Best Buy decided hey let’s give away her dishwasher and cancel her ENTIRE delivery of SEVEN Cafe appliances and better yet let’s not even contact her to let her know about. Or as a matter of fact it sounds even more fun to tell her when she calls in that yes all is in order for her delivery on October 25th and just not show up! Making it even better when I reached out to my sales consultant two days prior to delivery date he told me he was TOO BUSY to call me. Guess spending $15k + on appliances alone doesn’t mean much to Best Buy. When I said that’s OK just have someone call me crickets no help at all. When I did finally speak to someone from the corporate office on October 24th they told me the dishwasher would be back in stock October 31st but they couldn’t schedule me until November 16th due to other deliveries already booked. Finally they decided to squeeze me in on November 9th as a favor. Wanting to cancel the order the corporate employee gave me her email address to reach back out via email, two email attempts and she still has not responded or called me. Anytime I call the corporate phone number I get the general call center. I get the pleasure of speaking to a hardheaded person that I can’t even understand who is insistent on trying to help with the order even though I tell them I was advised by corporate to not let anyone but them touch the order. After being promised return calls here I sit and no one has called yet. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE. NO ONE CAN BE THIS BAD WITHOUT ACTUALLY TRYING TO BE!!!!!!

Great looking. Very techy, but easy to use. High yet even temperatures

I never thought I would replace my 20-year old white appliances with another set of white appliances, but I fell in love with the look at the GE Cafe series in matte white. The appliances look so expensive and have the reliable GE technology and reputation behind them. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

I LOVE these ovens! After waiting so long to get them, they’re worth the wait! So many features, convection, air fry, temperature probe, and the ability to start preheating and monitor what’s in the oven with the app. In addition to how great they work, they’re beautiful to look at. I couldn’t be happier.
