Disappointment
I had fairly high expectations purchasing a nearly $5000 oven the overall, it doesn’t function any better than my 25-year-old Kenmore that it replaced. It is cosmetically appealing, it looks very nice. Otherwise the function isn’t anything special. Unfortunately all of the controls are maintained by a touchscreen. I will have to tell you that the touchscreen does not work very well. Trying to turn off the kitchen timer, I’m tapping the screen over and over for 30 seconds and sometimes just won’t shut off. And then as I’m shutting off the timer, the oven shuts off. This is during the first two weeks of use. I can’t imagine what’s going to happen after thousands of hours of use. I can pretty much guarantee that the touchscreen is going to go bad as it is low quality - already faulty after using it 10 times. You cannot individually control the lights. Either both lights on or both lights are off. Again that’s disappointing for a $5000 oven. The display doesn’t particularly make sense. I don’t need a large display saying 400° that’s on all the time. It should go back to the clock so I can see what time it is from across the room. That’s just not intuitive. Overall again the entire touchscreen is lacking and is a poor quality. The doors themselves aren’t parallel to one another. They are crooked. They’re off by just a few millimeters but again for this kind of money everything should be dead on perfect. See photos below. The top door doesn’t align to the panel and the bottom door also doesn’t align to the top door. Same thing as visible on both sides. The title says it. Overall this is a disappointment. I would expect this type of quality for $1500 but not for $5000. I would take my old Kenmore back and return this for a better option though the installer kept it and I’m pretty much stuck. To add insult to injury, the Best Buy certified installer damage my cabinets when installing.

Amazing oven
I absolutely love this double oven! Setting it up with the app on my phone was simple, and now I can preheat, turn it off, or adjust the temperature remotely—whether I’m cleaning or out running errands. One of my favorite features is the built-in camera in the top oven. The image quality is excellent, and it lets me check on my food without having to open the door—perfect for busy days when I'm multitasking. This is a souffle makers dream. To my surprise, it also has an air fryer function, which has been a game changer. I had no idea when I bought it, but now I don’t need to clutter my counters with a separate appliance. This built-in version works even better than our old countertop air fryer and can handle much larger batches of food. I was initially skeptical about the precision cooking feature, but it’s won me over—especially for things like potatoes and sweet potatoes, which come out perfectly cooked every time. I’m excited to try it on more dishes soon. The slide-out racks are another smart design choice. I originally wanted a French door oven but couldn’t make it work with my kitchen layout. Thankfully, the slide-out mechanism makes it incredibly easy to access food without burning yourself or awkwardly reaching into a hot oven. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into every detail of this oven. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance, thoughtfully designed double oven.

GE Cafe Wall Ovens
Love the features of these ovens. Programming is simple and the compatible app notifies me when the oven is preheated and when cooking is done. The app makes it easy to order accessories. Cooking times are true to recipe directions. When using the convection mode, the ovens automatically adjust the cooking temperature. The display is pretty and provides the ability to change the wallpaper.
