This automatic espresso machine from Café makes it really good shot of espresso. Couple that with the convenience of an Americano, setting and ease of maintenance makes this product an exceptional buy. The tech/smart features are added bonuses. The only issue i’ve had so far (and i’ve had this product nearly a year now) is that the descale process seems to glitch.

We replaced a non-automatic espresso machine that we’ve had for 25 years that only my husband could manage. Now we both can make great cappuccinos. And we’re making them more frequently since it’s so easy. They taste a lot like the ones we drank in Europe. With the burr grinder and tray to capture the grounds all in a very compact package that doesn’t take up hardly any room in our small kitchen, you can’t go wrong with this amazing machine.

I love this machine. Had it for almost 2 months. Consistently delish espresso. Easy to use. Wish steamer worked harder and faster. Recommend.

In short - Wow!! This is a beautiful machine. Small and compact. I believe this is a GE/Haier machine. I’ve been making my own espresso & cappuccino for years non-automatic. Some may call this a basic automatic espresso machine, but it delivers!! At first, the app (Haier SmartHQ) installed easily but did not work to change any settings. After a week, a newer firmware (v 1.0.21.77) allowed me to customize the MyCup and other feature/settings. I use it for Doppio (double). You can even change grind times, water temperature settings for each brew. A lot easily to clean than my non-automatic Delonghi. If I want to nitpick, the water nozzle didn’t spray straight into thr hole but I rather use the measuring frother cup to collect the rinse water anyway. Taste - this is subjective and depends on the beans you use. Good for me. Great machine - buy one if you want a reasonably priced automatic espresso machine.

I love this coffee machine. The coffee tastes the same as my Breville Bambino/Baratza Sette setup with way less effort. Pros: -Great coffee (I'm a coffee snob too) -Solid, premium feeling build -Thoughtful design, like the drip tray magnetically attaching -Easy to use with some nice drink customizations in the app like grind time, water temp, and drink size Cons (minor gripes): -The water tanks comes out from the top, which is difficult if it goes under your cabinets -The steam wand is low powered, but gets the job done. I personally use a Bodum jug milk frother on the side. -It has you descale every month, which is way more than other coffee machines. I don't understand why they feel that's necessary, but they do permit you to use vinegar and don't try to sell expensive proprietary solutions. It also doesn't have an option for a water filter, which may or may not be important to you.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase since this is a new product from a company I'm not too familiar with (Cafe but is owned by GE). I'm glad to say so far I've been very happy with the machine and the coffee it makes. It's basically as easy as a Nespresso but makes way better coffee (and about 1/10th the cost per cup!). Eventually the cost of the machine will pay for itself over the Nespresso. I actually enjoy it more than our full fledged espresso machine due to the ease of use and cleanup (basically nothing to clean after making a coffee). Having kids around basically makes those full fledged espresso machine a non starter for us right now due to the time and clean up required for each cup (though you arguably can make better coffee). For us the temperature of the coffee is perfect but we aren't those who drink extremely hot coffee either. For our circumstances this machine really is great. Only concern is longevity. I'll definitely update the review over time if the we start to have issues.

We previously had a Nespresso coffee machine and just made the switch to the Cafe. This machine is easy to use, makes a great latte and eliminates the pods. The app is a little limited but once you determine your ideal settings you don't really need to mess with it any longer.

We purchased a matte black (looks more like dark grey) Cafe - Affetto Automatic Espresso Machine (the one with the milk frother/steam wand) at the store, so can't comment on shipping but it's packaged really well, so would have to assume it would be pretty hard to damage it during shipping. It functions really well, it makes great tasting coffee and espresso drinks and it's also very easy to use in fact I haven't even read the instructions yet, but I also haven't used any of the Wi-Fi features yet either so unfortunately I can't comment on any of those. My husband who only likes coffee not espresso drinks even likes it, he thinks it makes really good tasting coffee.

This is not the first automatic espresso machine I’ve bought and for the money - Black Friday deal $500 is the best product by far. Easy to operate, easy to clean and the fact that it connects to the app via Wi-Fi and sends notifications - is a plus. Grinder quality is great, coffee tastes great, very quiet and it doesn’t take much space on the kitchen counter. Design is nice too.

Got this for my mom as she's not very tech savvy, but loves coffee. Very straight forward instructions on usage - the only con is because there are so many compartments, ensure you clean each regularly to avoid molding. We got this product on sale a while back and are still using it a year in!

I have been so impressed by this machine. What surprised me is how quite it is compared to other auto espresso machines I have had. I have so far just used the default espresso which has provided wonderful flavor. Granted, it is only my wife and I, so we like the smaller size. Quite a difference from the Saeco I had before. Great crema on top and provides several different options. I primarily drink Americanos, and have gotten hooked on just the espresso!

Had a Gaggia machine for 15 years, this one more simple, elegant, and quiet. Fantastic espresso and easier in the kitchen. highly recommend!

You can put whole beans in machine and it grinds and feeds them into the spout. This is a much faster brewing method then other systems I have used. Quick and easy clean up. You will need to adjust to your taste.

I’ve had this for about 6 months and the ease of use and quality of espresso has been great. It’s probably not for the true connoisseur, but it’s more than satisfactory for anyone from the Starbucks generation. I also get a lot of compliments on it just for it’s aesthetic appeal on my counters, will look to add more Café appliances to my kitchen setup.

Awesome!! So much better then using a machine that takes coffee pods but not hard to use like a espresso machine. No mess and I love that it grinds the whole beans. But it keeps telling me to descale though even after several times of doing it. Still Recommend it the coffee is great.

This thing is amazing. It tastes great. It’s easy to use. Best of all. It’s easy to clean. I pull like 4-6 shots a day for myself and the wife and it’s just simple compared to a normal machine. Worth every penny.

Some of the reviews complain about the temperature of the coffee and whatnot... I have found that if I want my coffee hotter I can just hit it with the steam wand for 10 seconds and it becomes piping hot. I do whish there was more customization allowed in the app, but... it's a cup of coffee, and a quality one at that. This is the first ciffee maker I've ever used where I will willingly choose to drink my coffee black occasionally. If you just want an espresso shot, it can do that too. It does the same job as the $1500 pico baristo espresso machine at my work does... in fact, I actually like the flavors this espresso machine pulls out even better.

Great machine! I've had it for 2 weeks and i'm very happy with it so far. I have been enjoying lattes every morning now without having to leave the house. My only issue and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the milk frother. I need to froth the milk a 2nd time in order to get it hot enough. Frothing once just isnt quite hot enough. Otherwise no complaints. Having everything in one machine is very convenient.
