Purchased this product to replace my 15 year old GPSs and it's doing well for it's size. It's easy to update with a program added to your computer and notifies you of current updated programs. And the price is good for it's compatibility.

I have had a Garmin for several years. My first Garmin is larger than the one I just purchased I found that I needed to have the new Garmin as a back up for my new car. My car now requires my phone to be a part of the GPS system. If my phone is not working, I need to have a reliable GPS system and this Garmin fits the bill.

Will fit in phone holder , nice to have speed change and places to go like malls.

Bought this GPS for my mom who is 70 she is old school and would be easier to have a physical device that focuses on navigation only. That way she can focus on driving and not be distracted by phone calls while using Apple maps.

The display is crystal clear. Navigation is smooth. If your looking for more verbal guidance this is great because the screen doesn’t take up much room.

Works well BUT the cord that came with it is supesr short and most new cars dont have a port that allows it closer to the windshield. Seemed to be on top of speed limits etc but didn't really see much in terms of alternate routes/detours (maybe we just didn't come across any)? Haven't figured out how to change the voice yet so not as intutitive as other Garmin models.

This product has limited the display strength to 40% when using the USB power cord. If you want full power screen visibility, you need to use the old cigarette lighter power cord option. Some cars don’t have those anymore and for most people USB is just more convenient. When using USB the screen display is capped at 40% and is unreadable in any type of sunlight.

This Garmin GPS seems to work correctly. I haven't had much of a chance to put it to use yet. The display is bright and easy to read. The voice is loud enough to hear over the radio (provided the radio is kept at a low volume). My only problem is that Garmin still refuses to have its GPS units use Bluetooth to transmit its voice directions like a cell phone does (muting the radio channel while the cell phone uses the radio). I don't know why Garmin refuses to implement this much needed feature. You could play the radio at whatever volume you like, and the GPS would mute the radio when needed. C'mon Garmin, do better.

Accurate, handy, and helpful to have in the car! I'm happy they still make these things.

Little trouble navigating the system not as easy as older models seems to have less features as in the past.

I had to buy a new Garmin and I wanted simple and basic...like my old one. This is pretty close. The screen is amazingly clear in comparison to old Garmins and works well. I'm hoping I get as many years out of it as I did my old one.
