Certainly an upgrade from the previous Outdoor Nest cam. The field of view is much larger, both taller and wider. Thats a most welcome addition. These are a smaller footprint than the older ones, which is nice. Last model's power cord and mount are not compatible, but a definite plus is the power cable is included here. Which is a savings of having to specifically buy the cable separately like in the past. Highly recommend. The AI feature is gimmicky and highly annoying - you'll disable that in the Home app after the first couple of days.

Excellent camera! Great picture and sound quality. Easy to install and it integrates seamlessly into Google Home. Alerts on phone work well. All that said, it's more expensive than competition. So, get it on sale and is really only worth it if you have other Google Home devices.

Really solid camera overall. The video is clear day and night, setup was easy in the Google Home app, and I like not having to worry about charging since it’s wired. The smart alerts are accurate and it just works in the background without any hassle.

Excellent cameras. Wide view. I have them all around my business and home. We bought another to add a blind spot we just noticed. Pricey but worth it. With the home app, we can see the views from all over the world in real time

Great video quality, easy install. And I can pull it up on any Google Screen or any TV using chromecast.

The 2nd gen has a great video quality. Haven’t tried Gemini yet.

The quality is great and easy to set up and install follow step by step on the app and able to view as many camera you have all in one app easy to get footage from days ago and capture events. I highly recommend this camera

This Nest cam is a great device. Easy to install and operate. The unit comes in two parts, base & camera. No need to hardwire because the camera hooks up to the base via heavy duty magnet so you can remove to charge via USB cord (included).

Compared to the previous version, it has higher resolution on paper and is noticeable in practice. It is a nice cloud based streaming camera and worth the price. Easy install with the provided mounts and clips.

the nest cameras are great. the only thing is that you have to protect your cord from fraying when used outdoors.

This camera replaced an older one. We noticed that the images are sharper, especially with the night vision. It took some effort to figure out Google Home to replace the simpler Nest, but now we are OK with it.

Super clear images and easy installation. Replaced a gen 1 and the difference between the two versions is tremendous.

Item is very easy to connect, and the quality is great. Small and connects well to the magnetic and can adjust it very easily

Easy to setup. Smart notifications and great clarity. It does a really good job of letting you know what is going on and gives you a pretty accurate description of the event.

I had the 1st gen door bell. This is a huge improvement. I can only image the benefit of a 4k version of this with a higher frame rate of recording. That would really be great!

Great night vision & detection with 2K video. Instant notifications via Google Home. Easy to mount & set up with Google Home. I’ll purchase a couple more of these.
