Had to order and wait, when I got it home and installed it I found that the upper spray arm would not stay attached to the rack. Looks like it was missing a gasket or something that would have put some pressure on it to lock it in place. When I opened the door and closed it the machine was not square, when you push the door in it would align the frame and seal up. The bottom of the machine is solid plastic to the floor. It's not open like other machines. There are 2 channels in the plastic to pass the water and power to the back of the machine but in my set up I really need this to come out the side not the back so it didn't fit well where it was going to be. In the end I could have made it work for us but the spray arm coming off was a deal breaker and because they can not get parts and don't carry an inventory I was forced to return it and go somewhere else that had an equal price machine on hand. No machine = no hot water in the sink was I wasn't willing to wait to order another one. 2 stars for a nice set of features, in my personal experience I can't give more stars.

I've had three Insignias, and none of them were worth keeping! The delivery Geeks found a dent in the door of the first Insignia dishwasher as it was unpacked in the street, and so never even brought it into the house. The second dishwasher was also found to have dents after the delivery Geeks unloaded it, and so it was also never brought into the house. Geeks installed the third dishwasher and during the trial run, it made so much noise the delivery guy offered to take it back. I asked if it would leak water and if it was safe to use it. Since both questions were answered in the positive, I chose to keep it as I was tired of doing dishes by hand. I have ordered and am currently waiting for a Bosch dishwasher to replace the Insignia. Best Buy has been pretty good about all these issues but the REALLY good guys are the delivery men and Pacific Appliance (Best Buy) customer service and sales people. I truly love the physical design of this dishwasher; but the controls are too sensitive and the dishwasher doesn't always come on. I think the dishwasher would be a good value - cost to product - if quality control was better in its manufacturing and if it worked.

Works as advertised. You can hardly hear it running; I do NOT recommend self-installing - there are a lot of complications involved. I paid for professional installation - it's worth it. The only flaw in the diamond is that the front panel was dented in shipping but it does not affect the machine. Well worth it.

I cannot say how much I dislike this dishwasher. We replaced a simple middle of the road dishwasher for this upscale black stainless one. It does look beautiful and I love the recessed handle, but that is all I like. We have had nothing but trouble with it in the 6 months we have had it. It throws error codes constantly. Some just need to be cleared, but it will not clear the code without us flipping the breaker off and back on. it does not clean nearly as well as the old one. It is quiet though. I would never buy this machine again. Very disappointed in the dishwasher and the brand.

loved it a first. But. when I got error code E9. It was useless and too expensive to fix. Buyer beware

Pros: When the dishwasher runs, it is very quiet. Cons: First, the dishwasher was delivered with a dent in the door. The delivery people told us to go ahead and have the dishwasher installed and they would provide a replacement door. They kept scheduling an appointment but every time, they called to cancel because the new door had not arrived. It has now been four months and still no new door. Second, the dishwasher often flashes "E9" on the panel. To fix the error, we have to unplug the dishwasher and plug it back in. So far, customer service has not been able to resolve the problem. Hoping Best Buy will contact me with a solution.

Going on 3 years and no complaints! I love that it has a light inside and works like the best brands

Worked great, once! Now it is dead, E4. Cannot reset it. Called Insignia multiple times only to be hung up on by their automated service. Also the dish rack is of poor design.
