We have 1 fire stick that we use on multiple TVs, and this made it much easier to connect and disconnect instead of climbing on the chimney and looking aimlessly for the hdmi port.

It didn’t solve the problem and ultimately I had to purchase a new soundbar and the cord works as advertised.

The 3 ft. HDMI extension found at Best Buy was exactly the fix I needed. It worked great with a male plug on one end and a female on the other.
