I have a flat screen TV on a wall that I wanted to add a streaming device to. The HDMI port on the TV was located in such a way that the streaming device was completely hidden. Being behind the TV meant that the device did not get a signal from my WiFi. After adding the HDMI extender, the problem was resolved. I have notice no degradation in the signal quality and can recommend this extender for similar uses.

Instead of buying a completely new 8ft cable, I was able to lengthen the one I have for half the cost.

If you need just a little bit more cord for the HDMI this is the way to go!
