Easily my game of the year. Haven't loved a game this much since The Witcher 3 released. If you've never played a JRPG before, this might be the one you play to get your feet wet and gain some exposure to a great genre.

I have been playing this game a lot lately and so far I have really been enjoying it. I have not played any of the previous titles in the series, but as far as I can tell you really don't need to in order to enjoy it. There is a LOT of dialogue, but the game lets you fast forward through a lot of it (though, you might not want to because of character development and various potential outcomes for building relationships). Overall the game is beautiful, well crafted, and fun to play. I'm really enjoying it!

If you're a fan of turn based strategy games and open freedom choices this is a great game for you. The game also basically has it's own entire 2 seasons(or 2 movies) worth of anime cutscenes I was very skeptically if this game but after playing it fell in love and really enjoyed my playthrough of the game. It was very well written and the story felt compelling and interesting. Would definitely recommend to any anime fan.

Honestly I got this game thinking I wouldn’t get into it or none, but oh boy, was I wrong. This game first of has an amazing soundtrack that’s just so catchy and fitting. Gameplay wise it’s a turn based combat, but it doesn’t get boring like most others do. It has this uniqueness to it that just gets you hooked! Finally animation and graphics wise, it’s beautiful. The art style it has is very well done and again just fits amazingly well.

Great addicting game. Over 100 hours of gameplay is well worth it. Starts out a little slow but really gets to be amazing. One of the best PS4 games!! Grab it if you have the time to play :)

Persona 5 is a Turn based, life simulator, anime. A lot of people may be turned off by that but this is a game you must try before you judge. The story is fantastic, gameplay is fun. One half of the game, you will be living above a coffee shop, going to school (to level up your social abilities), get a part time job (money) and establishing relationships (potentially romantic). The other half is infiltrating the hearts of the corrupt (Zelda styled dungeons) and eliminating their darkest desires via cinematic turn based gameplay. If you are worried about length, the game's story, not including the side content, is over 100 hours long... And the soundtrack is legendary.

I actually bought this for a friend, (Purchased the Take your Heart collectors edition back when it came out.) I've put over 150 hours into this game and have loved EVERY single minute!

With an engrossing story this game is a must have for PS4 owners.

Absolutely amazing game. If you like turn-based JRPGs, this is one you cannot afford to miss. The storyline is incredible, the characters are interesting and relatable. The highlight by far is the music. It is incredibly varied, and very few tracks are boring. If you have never played a Persona game, it doesn't matter - the game does a good job of explaining the mechanics, and the story stands on it's own.

Persona 5 is a fun game. The story is great and so is the character development. The English voice acting is pretty good as well. The game play is also great. This RPG has fun mechanics where you can win a battle in more ways that just killing the enemy. This game has held my attention better than most games I've played recently. Overall I'd say this is one of my favorite recent RPGs.

I have never played any of the Persona games prior to this one, but this one has definitely hooked me into the franchise. The vibrant colored graphics, soundtrack, and combat mechanics of the game were amazing. The main cast of characters in the game all have awesome personalities and are pretty lovable as well. This game is absolute amazing and I totally recommend it to those who are fans or first timers of Persona.

This game has it all. It has that Anime charm and really interesting plot line. I am still getting used to the questing and combat, but I am really enjoying myself. The mechanics of the game are challenging but fair, so I have no complaints there. I can definitely see why people love this game. If you like a good story and a challenge, do yourself a favor and grab this game. You won't be disappointed.

It's good, no Shin Megami Tensei game is bad. Persona in general is focused towards more casual players. P5 is a great starting point for new players to the series.

Yo this game guys...it's named best game of the year for a reason! Graphics, design and even story is all just mmmm delicious. With easy controls on what to do and how to do them on top of which you can even change the settings for language aaaah! This game has it all! If it's your first time getting a persona game this would be the best place to start mmmkay!

Great game! Its like a merger of Final fantasy and anime. Fantastic story and great graphics. I am currently at 115 hours for the game and still not finished with the main story line. No pointless grinding or anything with a combat system that allows you to speed through battles if you hurry up your game. I would buy this one for anyone who likes final fantasy type games done well.

All the Persona games have been great, and only meet better with each installment. This one continues the pattern. Great story, great characters, and the game controls perfectly. And it looks amazing too. If you’re into slightly off beat Japanese games this is a no-brainer. If you’re not sure, it’s only $20. Go ahead and jump in. You won’t be sorry.

This is this first game I wanted after getting my first PS4. It's like an addictive drug, man, it sucked me into the story so deeply that it kept me awake at night and wanted to play until dawn. Just when I thought I had gotten the hang of the game, more areas and more abilities opened up. It was nearly impossible to put the game down... Loved every minute of it!
