I had the system installed at best buy and i was satisfied from day one. the system was great, the alarm was annoying which is what i wanted, and the 2 way remote is such a great addition to the remote. with fully adjustable sensor sensitivity you can't go wrong with this alarm. I suggest you double this up with the Proximity sensor which i use and its AMAZING. if anyone takes a single step in my vehicles direction it sends warning chirps and then goes off if they remain in the area. coming from a guy who had a break in AND had his rims and wheels stolen, I am telling you this has given me the ability to sleep at night and wake up as soon as anyone goes near my car after hours.

This system is great on my car. I didn't have key-less entry to begin with, so this purchase was worth it just for that almost. I am planning on having my car at school so I wanted the extra assurance that it was still okay. The ability for the remote to tell you if someone broke into your car and if the doors are locked is great! The range is well over 1000 ft in open land. However, there are a few minor things that annoyed me. I was going to bring my car back to Best Buy because I was having problems with the car thinking that the trunk was popped when disarming or that the shock sensor had been set off. Luckily these problems fixed themselves randomly, but it was still worrying. Another problem is that I've had is that sometimes when trying to arm/disarm the system, I press the button and it says that the car is out of range. Even though I am standing right next to it. But I know the range is good, because it normally works fine. The only other thing that I don't like is that the siren isn't very loud. If you're right next to it, it is ear-piercing, but if you're inside a house with the car parked at the end of the drive, then it isn't very noticeable. The main point of the alarm is to scare off the thief though so it will definitely do that.

Went in to buy a nice alarm for my vehicle. I decided on this one, because the features seemed nice. Now that I have had it installed, it really is no different from the cheaper models for the most part. The distance is no where near as advertised, unless I was maybe in the middle of nowhere with nothing but flat land, even then, I have my doubts. I have had instances where I can be right next to my car, push the arm button, and it beep my remote saying there was an error. I had it switched to auto-arm now since I felt I could not depend on it to set correctly at all times. It is supposed to have up to 2 miles of communication, yet when I park in my parking structure at work, I can be 100 feet away, and it wont make connection.
