Setting up the Ecobee sensors was quick and easy. The accuracy in terms of monitoring room occupancy is great and regulates the temperatures throughout the home. Currently its winter and the sensors allows the roo.s that are occupied to be assigned warmer temperatures than the unoccupied rooms. I highly recommend these sensors.

I love my Ecobee thermostats and the features they come with. I have two thermostats, one upstairs and one downstairs. Recently I had some cooling problems with my AC unit and realized it wasn’t cooling nearly as well as it should be. These sensors are helping me verify its finally fixed. I have 3 sensors total 2 of which are the smart sensors. 1 of them is the older Ecobee sensor which came with my thermostat. These new smart sensors are very easy to pair through the app. They come with a QR code and during the pairing process you scan the code and then pull the battery tab out. The app will then pair your sensor and in my case let you choose which thermostat you want to pair it with. These sensors are very accurate and are helping me keep track of the temperature in different rooms around my house. They also have motion sensors in them as well. This will give you the option to setup smart features with your thermostat based on room occupancy. Its truly a great feature. As a bonus, these smart sensors also can be imported in SmartThings through the Ecobee smart app. This gives you the ability to use them with your smart routines. I also love the Alexa integration. I have over 100 smart devices in my home and the Ecobee ecosystem is probably one of the most used smart home devices I own.

These sensors are pretty good. Accurate, I wish I could see humidity data on them or set them up without linking them to the thermostat to easily see attic/basement temps etc. I guess that’s more of a complaint with the app though. I’ve been using them for two years and haven’t had any issues besides I lost one of the bases for it and had to buy another set because I couldn’t find the base. It helped me discover which rooms were colder or warmer through the day so I can adjust the vents for summer or winter to make sure the house is a consistent temperature. I also like that in the app I can have it set the temps in only selected rooms. So I have two babies and it just makes sure their rooms stay a set temp throughout the night which is nice.

I like how easy it is to install and how it just starts working pretty quick. I have put it in my rooms and it sense things pretty well. The one downside i will say is that i wish i could put in higher location and tilt it down more so i can keep it certain locations where it is ahed for my dog or something to knock it over.. other than that, it’s great. The other thing to keep in mind is make sure to dont get too much cause it coupd lead to a marginal benefit issue

Sometimes they will read wildly different than the main sensor but 95% they work amazing helping keep my house cool

temperature sensing is accurate but motion sensing not so accurate.

Quick connectivity and accurate readings. Definitely a plus to be able to view every rooms temperature for the kids.

Great companion for the smart thermostat. Small form but accurate readings, and the motion sensor makes Nest temperature sensor look outdated.

I already had 3 and this makes it 5 total now, as they work great. Easy to setup and pretty much accurate with another item showing same temperature in one of the rooms. Also, the sensors showing someone is in the room works well too.

Easy to setup sensors that help keep costs to a minimum for the HVAC system. I really like that they can “tell” when a person is in a room and they are extremely accurate.

Great way to get more accurate central air readings- same as HVAC tech was getting. We have a dehumidifier (which warms the air a bit) in the hallway near the main thermostat. We turned of the sensor in it and just use the remote sensors.

does exactly what you expect of them, accurate, love the sensor telling me if room is occupied or not (so far no surprises when no one is SUPPOSED to be there lol)

I bought these in addition to the Eco-bee thermostat. They pair easily and can provide very accurate reading based on the rooms they are placed.

They work well and are accurate. Good addition to our ecobee. Would definitely recommend adding them to anyone who has the ecobee.

I think these are better then the first version. Occupancy sensor seems to be more accurate.

The room sensor is clever, made well, and exceptionally durable. I dropped one of mine from 10 feet in the air on accident onto our tile floor. Luckily, I had the magnet base on because the unit bounced off the base and seems to have taken the blow quite well and is still providing accurate and reliable information. To adjust you need to accompany them with the like branded thermostat. To check compatibility please visit Ecobees website directly prior to purchasing. The room sensor is a great feature if your house is like our and the HVAC does not hit every room equally. Or maybe it is that my son’s room just has too many windows. Either way, I placed the sensor in there and was able to adjust as needed. I would note that I would not recommend for houses with large dogs. No matter where I place them, they seem to love my dogos and wants to “Sense” them all day long
