Compared to M1, the battery is not so great and lappy is getting heat immediately. Not highly recommended.

Black Friday special I purchased a 16 GB ram with 256 storage so far so good. We’ll wait and see if Apple is a good choice.

Its had a lot of issues of connecting to wifi and the screen going black out of nowhere

People say it's crazy fast, I haven't noticed that. It still freezes if you have too many windows open at once. It still has solid construction, a good screen and about 15-17 hours of battery. Somehow, my battery still drains quite a bit when the computer is in sleep mode... The efficiency of the chip means less heat and no fan. Together with the solid state drive, this computer has less moving parts that could get damaged. OK for a laptop with no touchscreen. I feel like the trackpad is somehow less pleasant than the one on my former 2012 MacBook Pro. Dumb things: - no USB port, or any ports except a headphone jack and two USB-Cs that are too close together to have 2 USB adapters in use at the same time. They are also crowded too close to the charger which cannot be used if an adapter is in the USB-C port next to it. I thought we were moving closer toward universality, but this laptop brought back a MagSafe charge cable unique only to itself (fail). - No option to turn off backlit keyboard. I liked this feature but now you have to go to some menu, click a submenu and awkwardly click and drag a round button a precise fraction of a millimeter to turn from dim to off and vice versa...not user friendly. - The operating system and system data uses 43 GB...on a brand new computer! Not to mention I still have 3 updates to install, I feel that Apple is going to make this model obsolete with their bloated updates sooner than customers would like. Get more storage if you are hopeful Apple will continue to support your computer past 5 years.

Let me start with I love my MacBook. It’s a great computer. That’s where my positives with BEST BUY ends. I was promised I could get Apple care on my MacBook which I couldn’t because it was open box. I asked this question numerous times and was misinformed. Was charged for good condition although the box says fair in 3 places, the worst part is it took an hour and a half to complete this purchase. I came back a few days later to swap this laptop out for a silver one that was not previously opened so I could get Apple care and after waiting an hour for help I walked out. The Huntsville location leaves a lot to be desired. Very nice MacBook though.

I got this MacBook Air & realized that the RAM was too small for me & I returned it to get a model with 16GB RAM. I’m so happy I made that decision because Apple is discontinuing 8GB RAM MacBook Airs & the Space Gray color this year with the 2025 model. I would have had an outdated model. I ended up with a MBA M3, 16GB in Starlight.

The fast delivery was very good. It's working very well. There are few products that deliver open boxes from Best Buy, but I was able to buy this MacBook at a very low price when I needed it. But the product of Open Max's 'Like New' is not certain. There were scratches on all the sides of the MacBook. Nan used the case right away, so there would be no more scratches, but there was a feeling of use that did not fit the grade. There was also oil on the keyboard. I want you to look more carefully and match the grade accurately. And the delivery box has a weak tape, but the original box has a lot of best buy stickers and a dented box. What the hell are you doing.... As a result, it works well. I was very angry at the time, but I just left it. But I get emails that want reviews too often. I think this article will help people who want to make other purchases. If you want to buy it at a lower price, I recommend you to think twice and then buy it.

Great for my graphic design projects. Should’ve gotten more ram but this works for what I need

I like the computer. The color is beautiful. I wish it were a touch screen computer. It's annoying that it comes with a magnetic charger but thankfully teh USB-C still works to charge it. The shipping got delayed and I was moving and Best Buy was not helpful with resolving the issue.

Always wanted a Mac but when going to use it there is not a backspace tab. You use the delete key in conjunction with fn key then it backspaces. After years of typing I could not get used to this and missed the backspace key. Returned the laptop and was disappointed that instead of using your right pinky to backspace you had to reach up push the delete key along with the fn key to backspace. Big bummer!

Over priced for a laptop. Runs smoothly. Great for craft work and photo editing

its fine. it does what it should and does it pretty well. i havent really had any complaints so far.

I was disappointed that the salesman, Donavan failed to tell me there were different colors I could buy. He also messed up and had it delivered To my home instead of the store. Thus I was not home for three days when they tried to deliver it to me.

Bought this for my son. Every app he tried to use, it would say it was “iPadOS” so he couldn’t use it on the MacBook. After letting him try it for a few days, we ended up having to return it because nothing he was trying to use on it was compatible. He did find some of his apps, however not enough to justify having this over a regular iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard.

I returned it, it’s a great laptop but i thought it would be a touch screen, like the iPad Pro at that price. Without touch screen it just felt like an old outdated laptop, i got the iPad Pro with keyboard instead and I’m happy.
